Kings (11-7) vs Pelicans (11-10): In-Season Tourney QF

We host a fully healthy Pelicans squad in the first ever knockout stages of the In-Season Tournament. We've lost two already this season to New Orleans on the road but will try to take a step in evening the season series at home against a team that has struggled on the road.

Biggest thing tonight will be to find a way to limit Zion as much as possible.

I don't like our chances tonight.

Vegas does however Kings are a 3 point favorite.

Duarte & Len out.

I think we are going to have to get hot from 3 and harass their guards some to give them less clock. Maybe somehow we can get a couple of charges called vs Zion.

Ball movement is critical too with their length.

But we get to see what our team is made of tonight.

Fully agree. Would like to see us force them to shoot from deep. Get a hand up on the shooters and make the beat you from the outside. The outside shots seem to be when we can run.

We can't give Zion or Ingram baseline at all, we don't match up well, but at least try to direct them to some help.

I think it would be a good idea to test the refs early to see if we can get a charge vs Zion too. I wouldn't be surprised if Brown thinks so too. Don'e be surprised to see someone get barreled over early looking to do so.

Zion couldn't handle Barnes, so he has to be lethal tonight to make him work on D if they match up tonight.

Refs haven't been great but we've also been making a lot of dumb mistakes on both ends. Need to tighten things up and Fox to step it up.

Needed that Monk three to end the half. Our shots stopped falling and Pels shots started to fall. Lyles kills me with those fly-bys sometimes, especially when it's a knockdown guy like Murphy out there. Need to close out and not let him side step and reset cause that's gonna fall like 80% of the time I feel like.

Team stats wise this is a pretty closely matched game.
