Huge game tonight as we return home to take on the Pelicans who we are in direct competition with for the 6 seed. The hope is still alive but will have to take three straight wins starting tonight and some more luck to go our way with New Orleans losing the rest of the season. The chance at the 6 is very slim but at this point it's super important to win so we can avoid the 9 seed. 7 is preferable but as long as we can avoid the 9 then I am more comfortable going into the play in.

This is looking very ugly, for the fifth time this season.

Zion is just ridiculous. I mean, he's bullying Len in the paint and he's our biggest player by far.

Keeping it close, 7 point game with the Pels shooting 59% from deep could be worse. Fox is keeping us alive, we need to guard the long ball better and need Sabo to step us and at least play even with Val.

6 point game going into the half, could be worse. We still have a chance just need to defend the three point line better.

Barnes with 22 tonight but somehow still a team worst -18.

Domas not far behind at -16. Are teams just starting to scheme on him down the stretch of the season or is it dead legs or what? He has been ineffective the last week or two.

Well, the first two or three offensive possessions made it very clear that our game plan was not good against NOP - for forth time in a row. I blame coaching for that.

We started slow but it was really hard after 34-11 taking into account the psychological toll from first three blowouts. Barnes and Sabonis were on the court during that 15-0 1st quarter NOP run that (with Colby Jones) but these three were sitting during our immediate 12-0 counter run, which describes +/- stats for this particular game.

Huerter had a disappointing season but his off ball movement and high screen actions with Sabonis were creating lots of space and making defenses work harder. I was expecting Keegan will take over this role but it didn't happen. As a result, our offense is very static and predictable at this point, and that almost cancels out the best skill of Sabonis - passing. Seriously do you remember the last time Sabonis throw a pass to backdoor cutters? He did it many of times last year. Give and go's? Passing the ball again and again to open man until finding the best shot while defenses running to close out?

Most of us knew this was a scheduled L — with or without Ingram

Kings had ZERO chance beating this team at all
