Post#1 » by BRIGGS » Wed Jan 2, 2008 5:44 pm

if you can do me a favor--the media around NY is calling the Kings something like panzies/patsies--the might Knicks will beat them well etc... how about you guys do us a favor and whip us by 20 pleaseeeeeeee. They talked some trash about you guys--maybe a player reads these boards and puts that on the locker room board--please beat the darn knicks tonight.

I know we are not full strength but this is the line up:

Beno
Garcia
Salmons
Moore
Miller

This is actually the versatile line up and the running (fast pace) line up...

We almost beat the Suns with this exact lineup but the Kings did their trademark "self destruct" mode in the last possessions of the game to warrant the loss...

We dont look tough with this lineup but we are a handful with this line up.

Don't beat us by 20, could you beat us by 50? And injure Eddy Curry while your at it.

knicks and pacers are 2 of my favorites on the east teams hopefully they can turn it around next season.

Well, I can legitimately see the Knicks winning this because they do have a lot of talent, and generally more than us. Specifically a good, big front-court for what they do. Been losing a lot lately as well, and may just get going well tonight.

But that hasn't been the consistency with the Knicks on the court with their talent, and I think the Kings are more of a team than the Knicks.

Won't be surprised either way, but I'm going with the Kings to win. More reliable to play hard than the Knicks.

Knicks simply getting out played so far - I love it

Little doubt, that why Isiah put Chandler in is to showcase him to Petrie and Theus. At least part of it.

Salmons is having an excellent all-around game... Jamal Crawford has been non-existent. Remember he came in for Kevin last season at Arco, and cooled him off quite well for the rest of the game. As he was torching Kevin before that.

Nice to see Justin get a stint, and before Kenny Thomas, he was active in there, made things happen a few times.

As usual, League Pass is airing the feed from MSG for this game. Their crew (Mike Breene and Walt Frasier) are just astounded that the Knicks are getting their asses handed to them by a decimated Kings' team. It would be funny if this game ends up resulting in Thomas being fired.

It's almost like we're playing a bad D-II college team tonight. It's so bad it's almost embarrassing...not that I will complain about us blowing out any team.

Multi-category career night for Salmons:

Career high scoring with 32
Career high steals with 6
Tied career high rebounding with 11
Tied career high FG made with 13

I think John will want to play the Knicks all the time.
