Playoffs for the Kings?

Post#1 » by risktaker91 » Thu Jan 3, 2008 11:57 pm

I was looking at Sacramento's situation, and I really like this team. Your record is 12-18, and considering the big three of Bibby, Artest and Martin are injured, this team might be scary. Do you think your team will make the playoffs?

Bibby
Miller
Artest
Moore
Miller

I think that's your starting 5, or is Beno going to start pushing Bibby to the 2?

Beno
Bibby
Martin
Artest
Miller

That lineup looks a little small.

So what are your thoughts on this team, when everyone stays healthy. And what's the deal with SAR?

SAR is out for the year.

I think the Kings need to decide what they want to do beyond this season. If everyone is healthy we all know this is a playoff team, but what do we do beyond this and next season is unknown.

Definitely, this team is a playoff team when HEALTHY.... IMO we will have a similar hot run from 2 years ago when Artest guaranteed us a playoff birth... We were like 27-12 for the 2nd half of the season...

It's going to be really tough for a few reasons.

1) We still won't be fully healthy for nearly a month, and even then, we have to assume that everyone that is currently healthy stays that way.

2) "The West is stacked" is a phrase that gets thrown around a lot. But just to give some perspective, the 9 seed right now is the 18-16 Utah and the 10 seed is Houston, who is bound to get better. That makes the playoffs, at this point, a very tall order. If we were in the east, I'd say we have a good shot, but out west, it's going to be damn near impossible.

I need to see how the big three all being back, with Ron anbd Bibby WANTING shots and Martin NEEDING shots, see how the Chemistry works before any playoff hopes are lifted.

I'd rather trade Artest and get a high pick and cap relief.
