No, that's just the way the Kings are playing.

On the Portland Trail Blazers (back when they were known as the Jail Blazers) serving Thanksgiving meals: "In between arrests they do community service."

1.Weakest link:
They need a true PF to put next to D12, they need someone with some size to give them some much needed toughness.

2.Contenders Or Pretenders:
Not sure if they are title contenders but they will be respectable, they are at least two pieces away from being a true contender, a true PG and a true PF.

3.Depth:
The lack of depth is going to hurt them in the long term, they need to get 3 more players into this rotation so they can go 9 deep.

I think we have a below-average shot to get the win

Well said on your Magic take, a-rod

I want to see more Bobby Brown. Beno has sucked big time and I haven't been impressed with Bobby Jax play so far either. Bobby J hasn't hurt us as much as Beno but he never has been good at running an offense and never will be.

Hopefully Thompson continues his good play and gets more minutes meaning Moore gets less minutes. If the season were to end today Thompson could very easily win ROY. Of course that will not happen because Rose and Beasley get all the hype.

Kev is missing Miller badly. Miller is so good at finding Kev and getting him the ball in position for an easy score.

I want to put some of the blame so far on Theus. I didn't think he coached a very good game in game #1, even though it was close I think we could of won with better coaching decisions. And the
Kings were not prepared at all against Miami. Coach hang time has to take some of the blame.

The ball movement has to get better. Way too much dribbling and one on one last game which = 2,367 turnovers.

They need to measure Hawes again, I think he is taller than 7'0.

The Magic are going to be pissed off, having just lost to the Hawks and Geizzlies. And if Beno is still drunk from his night out in Miami, we're screwed. Never appreciated howvaluable Brad Miller was to this team, especially with Beno I'm his stupor. Whatever is bothering Kmart, I hope it resolves itself soon, it can't ALL be Miller.

I say we start Thompson and pound the hell out of Rashard inside. Should be a good test for Hawes going against Dwight. So far, he's done well against Yao and Bynum, but has been completely owned by Oden.

Not that I'm one to be critical, but can we get a better clip of Shard? ;)

Great game thread! Should be a good game

Brad isn't going to be the savior! If we turn the ball over like we did in Miami we won't beat anybody. That was horrendous!

Good luck tonight, you got some pretty nice pieces for the future in Spencer Hawes, Kevin Martin, Jason Thompson, and hopefully eventually Donte Greene (watched him at Syracuse).. You guys definitely have one of the more respectable franchises on my behalf.. Should be a good one to watch, we haven't looked too strong this year thus far..

I'm leaning to a Kings loss IMO. We just have to limit those DAMN TOs. Beno and Martin has to WAKE UP!!

Much, much better showing for the boys in purple today. The offense looked good. Martin finally breaks out of his slump, Beno looks like an NBA player, and we have more assists than turnovers. Good stuff! Jason/Spencer also came back from foul trouble to work nicely in the offensive game in the fourth quarter. More good stuff!

I'm not worried about the defense yet. I knew this would be a learning experience for Jason and Spencer, and it was. The Magic gameplan worked really well, they got our two young bigs in foul trouble through Dwight Howard and then they pounded us on the glass. Since Jason and Spencer are our only hope for any kind of defense, we really fell apart.

I'm telling you, we'll be a good defensive team once these guys get some experience under their belts.
