Portland fan here. Though I like the idea of not having to face Martin, I really enjoy watching him as a player, so wish he was in tonight, or Monday. He's a joy to watch on the court. Am interested to see Greene play. I know there were quite a few Portland fans who were interested in him at 13. Good luck tonight.

I'd say that's gotta be Mr. Salmons.

I don't care if this was the 77' Blazer championship team in their prime against you guys tonight, Sacramento always plays Portland tough. Especially in Sacramento.

I am hoping for a win, but not at all counting on one.

Good luck the rest of the way.

Thompson is so active already 9 rebounds. He's a stud!

That's what I'm talking about. Use our bigs shooting ability to our advantage.

I don't understand this team. How can you play so good against the Hornets on the road and go back to Arco and get blown out by Portland?

Does anyone think Bobby Brown can be our future starting point guard? I feel like he is already an upgrade over Beno. His vision and quickness is better than Beno's and his jumpshot is better than I expected.

And in 2010 if we go after a big name free agent I would think it would be a point guard. We are set for the future at all the other positions. I doubt we spend a lot of money on someone so that either Hawes or Thompson or Martin or Salmons/Greene sits on the bench.

Are there any big name PG's to go after? I think Nash but he'll be in diapers in another 2 years. I still think, and ever moreso with the Knicks entering the fray, that hoping or even worse, planning for a big name FA in 2010 is a bad idea and one that likely will end up pointless. The fact is there are about 10 guys I could see the Kings being interested in and they are the same 10 about 20 other teams under the cap are going to be interested in. We need a top pick in one of or both of the next 2 drafts. That's how we will build our team. With the youth we have adding a couple more top 5 picks will be the best thing possible for this team.

I think we are just going to somewhat overpay for a 2nd tier player in 2010. I think that is going to happen...Not saying it is bad or anything. The 2010 plan by Petrie should be "big" in terms of positive for the team.

I don't think he's the guy. I actually think Beno is the better choice simply because he won't jack it up everytime he has the ball. Bobby is a good player, may even be a solid starter, not for this team though. Although he has played more unselfish lately.

Another hurdle is that we have no Bird rights to him and he has a player option for next year. If a team offers him more than the MLE, not that it's likely, we can't match it. Nor do I think offering him any more than half the MLE, if that, is a smart move.

Since Theus was called out by the Kings owners for his 3 point defense...

Portland: 14/26 from 3's ...and another blowout loss.

Our team:

50% FG shooting, 24 assists, 9 steals and only 13 TO's..and we still lose by 21. Something in our defense NEEDS to change.

Also, JT had 12 of our 29 rebounds. Good for him, but terrible for everyone else. Hawes/Miller were dominated by Oden (again) and Przybilla.
