DaRon Holmes II

Any insights on this guy?

PF or C?

I’m thinking about him on a frontline with Sabonis and Murray.

I like him, and think he's undervalued in this draft. He should go ~15-20 range, while most mocks I've seen have him in the 30-45 range.

It looks like Kings only have a second (pick ~45). I think he'll be long gone by then. Kings would have to move up a lot to snag him.

Can he defend on the perimeter (PF or C)? How’s his defense and shooting translate?

My assumption is Sac would need to move up to the low/mid 20’s to get him.

He’s been around like 5 years - you don’t know who he is?

No.

I only care about guys that are going to get drafted or be a real player in the league. Until they reach that level I don’t give a **** about any of it. He is now on the radar. I’m asking to learn from people that do care about these guys before they come into view of the league.

Thanks.

Do you think he can play the four?

A lot of late 1st round playoff teams need rotational big men (Bucks, Nuggets, Celtics). I could easily see Holmes going to one of those teams. Also guys like Edey, Oghadoro, Kalkbrenner.

This guy doesn't look like a rotation player to me. He is not much of an athlete even if he looks the part. He seems rather lethargic.
