since my last post, i saw him again, and while he was better, he simply doesn't look like anything special. hardly stood out, but did some good things. probably had 8-10 points or so.

Thanks for the update! If you happen to catch any more of his games, please let me know!

Seems Buzelis has become the MVP of the basketball without borders camp with some notable names in there.

I didnt know he was that tall, I know his highschool says he is 6'11, but I was skeptical about that. But guy is just as tall as Motiejus Krivas :

Isn't Krivas listed as 7'0 - 7'1?

that pic is deceiving a little, in that video you can see he's a good 1 maybe 2 inches shorter than Krivas

Good catch! I think he's probably similar size as Murauskas, maybe 1-2 inches taller than him. Between Buzelis, Murauskas, Tubelis and Krivas, the Lithuanian future frontcourt looks pretty exciting.

Do people have his shooting stats in high school.

(Shooting stats are so obnoxious to find from high school)

all I could find is from the nba.com announcement of his G League commitment

He was named the 2022-23 Gatorade Kansas Boys Basketball Player of the Year after averaging 15.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks and shooting 53.7 percent from the field, including 43.1 percent from 3-point range.

Long way till the draft but he's my #1 pick as of now. Really like the pass here at 6:20

And he showed an impressive scoring repertoire (and some defense) in this game:

1/11/24 The birth of a new Hal. From now on being less combative, avoiding confrontation - like Switzerland :)

any concerns on how his frame holds up in G-League? can physicality drop his stock for you?

Future of the NBA right here - would bet money thats the #1 picks in the next 2 drafts. Exciting to see guys that size so talented and fluid - should be fun to watch in this league.

i haven't dug into the numbers, are there inconsistencies? with the games i've had a chance to watch. the form looks fluid and consistent and the misses never look off to the extreme variety. what are the concerns you have?

mechanics are all fine, just want him to be a bit quicker with his shots and more consistent, it'll open up a lot of the playmaking potential for himself as well

he really doesn't have many major flaws tho, well rounded prospect
