I'll take your word for it. I'll keep an eye on him. He seems to play more like a SF no?

Good to see AJ Dybantsa reclassify, meaning he'll be eligible for the 2026 draft (in which he'll be a likely top 2 pick along with Boozer).

Nice replacement for Flagg leaving the class. This class is back to having a really good big 3 at the top (AJ, Boozer, Peterson). Obviously still super early for this class and many things can change from here till draft time. But at least there is some clear potential with this class.

i like kiddos game. smooth and efficient, like to see his rush hour handle improve but he does a really good job of eating up space with his footwork. should develop into a very good player in the league.

If we're ranking floor and ceiling of the following, which order do we have them in?

Cooper Flagg
Cameron Boozer
AJ Dybantsa
Ace Bailey
Alex Sarr

and this is IRT speculative translation to the league

Im not going to include Sarr because the only thing I know about him is his brother.

Ceiling:
Flagg: I think his ceiling can be a legit point forward while bringing DPOY level defense to the 3 and 4 spots
AJ: Has the size/length and foundation to be that high level wing scorer.
Boozer: Just so freaking skilled and still has solid size. Cant have him higher than AJ though because he can be in that funky spot of having the size of a 4 but the athleticism of a 5.
Bailey: Plenty of natural tools, but significantly behind the other 3 when it comes to day 1 elite skills. I just have that gap to big to have his ceiling realistically near the other 3.

Floor:
Flagg: I think push comes to shove, if there is one skill set from this group of guys I trust transferring to the NBA level, its Flagg's defense. And because of that, I have him with the highest floor.
Boozer: Got Boozer 2nd because ya he may get stuck in that weird 4/5 tweener zone. But we are still talking about a 6'9-6'10 dude who is a big time + passer, already shoots in the high 80s from the line, and has moved his shot to beyond the 3. Just too much skill to be a complete bust.
AJ: Does have the good foundation to be that high level wing scorer, but I dont think he is elite anywhere and doesnt have that elite skill set to fall back on like Flagg and Boozer have.
Bailey: Just so raw compared to the other 3.

Well, you've got some catching up to do then on Sarr. He's got a good shot at being the #1 pick in next June's draft.

There's plenty of film available on him:
-21-22 season with OTE
-22-23 season with OTE
-2023 summer with France at FIBA U19
-Preseason (including 2 games vs G League Ignite) and early season games for Perth Wildcats in 23-24 season

Plenty of all these games on Youtube and some OTE games from last season on Amazon Prime.

And interesting that you know so much about the guys who aren't draft eligible till 2025 or 2026, but you know nothing about the guy who's eligible for the 2024 draft..

Duke just landed another 5 star in Patrick Ngongba and are favorites to land another 5 star and top 10 guy in VJ Edgecombe. Duke's recruiting isnt slowing down at all.

These Duke guys better hope Scheyer is decent! Banking on an unproven coach to raise (or at least not lower) your draft stock is super risky. Flagg’s probably too good for that but I fear some of the others will fail there.

Dylan Harper joining Ace Bailey at Rutgers. Should be a fascinating team to watch next year.

Rutgers - Ace Bailey / Dylan Harper
Duke - Cooper Flagg / VG Edgecombe / Isaiah Evans / Kon Kneuppel
Kentucky - Jayden Quaintance
UNC - Drake Powell / Ian Jackson
Arizona - Carter Bryant
Texas - Tre Johnson

it's not a great HS class either but Coop reclassing made it a lot better and it's better than the 23 class

Edgecombe hasn’t committed yet. Would be bizarre if he chose Duke given their already stacked roster and Scheyer’s struggles as a coach, but we’ve seen dumber decisions. Kentucky seems to be a chance and would make more sense if he sees himself as a guard rather than a wing.

He's allegedly 12 YO, which is hard to believe. But even if he's a bit older that's pretty crazy stuff.
