Keldon late running after his man who gets the pass and finishes at the rim.

The talk to realization about D ratio is widening.

You can have your back to someone charging at the basket and have a foul called on you....

I love the NBA

Why are we so tender in allowing guys to drive by us? Crossing into paint, baseline, we're just backing up. Stand your ground.

See that's what happens when refs are so trigger happy in one game. It sets the tone for the next one. We're not physical enough and we're getting circles run around us.

I might have to start rooting for us to lose again so McDermott will actually make a basket.

lmao dude needs to get his game on. Rusty af. And if he's not scoring, well, we look to the third five for replacements.

Five minutes left in the Q and we AGAIN stuck with 11 points. Just a grind tonight, but a lot of it is self inflicted on O.

They are beating the crap out of us physically. And I dont mean fouling. Just being more physical. I know its a big difference from slow lumbering Dallas but this shouldn't be happening.

We saw them enough in the pre season.

8-0 run to finish the Q by us!

That last **** D board by Wemby was shockingly pretty. WOW. Quick pass out to Cedi 3.

Tre calls for Wemby screen, floater 2. Pretty. Smart. Decisive. THIS is what we need.

2ND Q: SPURS 52 ROCKETS 52

Dan Weiss just said we finished the Q on a 10-1 run. Somehow we came to organized life on O. By somehow I mean Tre was running point. I think once Graham returns from his suspension we will run Tre at starting point, especially versus teams with midget PGs. It's clearly much more settled. The guy with the ball sets the tone and Sochan doesn't have team confidence yet. It is apparent. Once Graham returns, we'll be able to better adjust the rotations.

Speaking of which, Doug is once again 0-1 at the half. Doug 2.0, aka Cedi, is 2-2.

Agree completely with gump that we are getting out-physicalled all over the place. Part of it is Keldon getting targeted or just taken advantage of by whomever gets defended by him. He's ok on like help D blocks and whatnot, but he got badly outpositioned and drive by several times by the half already. Am I picking on him too much? I don't know. All that talk about D makes me look at it more closely.

Part of it is just effort and hustle back on D and hustling after rebounds - 25-17 against, including 6-3 on O boards.

We are also settling for less physicality and outside shots on O too much. You can tell because all of our bigs are inefficient: Zach is 1-5 and Wemby is 2-10, 0-8 combined from 3.

Bassey has not scored. Neither has Doug, assuming he's the PF in the second group.

So all our points are coming from our back court and wings, so we are not creating good enough chances for our bigs - we must maximize our bigs weapons.

Another aspect of softness and too many shots outside and not using our bigs well enough is that we are 3-4FTs at the half -- only Wemby and Devin have gotten to the line!

Let's get our O going and our D effort clicking with some HARD PHYSICALITY!
