When I was 19 I played 3-4 hours a day seven days a week.

Probably tired from all the work to get open, run down the court in transition, and not get the damn ball. Are we unclear about the pecking order?

LMAO, that Pacer PR lady with the red hair just grabs Toppin by the jersey and throws him in the direction of the interviewer before he goes to the locker room

2ND Q: SPURS 61 PACERS 86

Not it's not the final score of a heavily defensive minded game. It really is the half time score.

And as important as Wemby is to us even now and our future, it just goes to show how important Devin is to our current group.

5-9 from 3 is bad, both numbers. Only Zach and Wemby made a 3 from the starters. Our opponent has made as many as we've attempted, on only 15 shots from the arc.

We're getting outrebounded on both ends, giving up open shots, missing bunnies. Ok the TOs are low, but so is our energy.

Keldon one shot. Wemby doing what he can from the logo. Give him the damn ball. Higher. HIGHER. H-I-G-H-E-R.

Everyone play better.

Its partly to do with the Pacers making everything and partly because we arent resisting them from hitting everything.

Hopefully they will cool off like we did last night. (And maybe we will play some defense)

Wemby has to do it all himself. Gets a huge block, takes it down the court himself to create, just misses.

Gets a board, brings it down court for a pull up 3.

This is what he has to resort to to get rhythm.

I hope Pop ripped into the effort.

Sometimes it's like we make an effort to keep the ball away from him. That's something Pop can easily fix if he wants to.

Yeah but for a wonky high low TO attempted pass to Sochan, Wemby's been ISOing hard here. Pretty much the only way to guarantee he's getting a shot of his choosing.

Both true. Pop does have to balance the whole 'we're all in this together' and handing the keys over too soon, but yeah we're egalitarian to the point of failure.

I don't think EVERY play should be 'Wemby or it's wrong' but we are missing him to much relative to all the work he's been doing to run the court and fight in the block and saving our asses on D.

I have a hard time believing pro players can't throw a ball higher. HIGHER. Or find him as he's cutting across the key, arm up. Like it's too much work off ball to be so looked off. It's no wonder he likes Devin. They have a really nice BALANCED synergy.

In a lot of ways, this season is as much about getting chemistry through reps as it is who can handle playing with Wemby in terms of putting themselves aside enough to make us better collectively.

Wemby also has to make himself more available when he doesnt have the ball instead of just kind of wandering around.

Can't comment as much about this game, but Wemby's been putting in a LOT of work getting free and we've missed him like two thirds of the time.

3RD Q: SPURS 87 PACERS 119

We roared out of the half with our lowest scoring output yet lol

All the stats on ESPN box score are out of sorts so I can't comment on what we made/missed, but we allowed another 30+ point Q.

We're labouring all over the place, and like gump said, an early season B2B even with travel is no excuse for this level of low energy, out of syncness, and poor effort.

Disappointing effort.

Wait did we really not attempt ANY 3s in the 3RD Q? We're still stuck at 5-9...

Wemby tries. But he also does a lot of drifting when he doesn't have the ball.

IMO we need someone (a player). Sochan or Jones to take him aside and ask him "Where do u want the ball? Where are you most comfortable receiving a pass?" and make an effort to get it to him.

I'm sure it will all come with time but thats what I see right now.

SIT EVERYONE AND PUT THE THIRD STRINGERS IN.
