Really nice Q by us. Much better energy and push, decisive quick passes, movement, and getting looks for everyone.

We didn't start with outside shots, worked inside instead, and got good easy buckets. Ten assists already.

Like the rebounding, the switching and rotating, and active hands in the paint. Like the D to O transition pushes.

Thought we settled for 3s late in the Q, but we did well to keep up the pressure on both ends. One of our best Qs in a long while. Both ends good.

We have to be careful about space allowed in their getting passes to open men, the rolling big into our key, and back door passes.

I think Pop switched up the rotations as Wemby didn't finish the Q as he usually does.

We start with a bigger 2ND Q lineup with Tre, Dev, Doug, Wemby, Bassey.

Sochan chasing again. He takes too wide steps or something, can't place my finger on it. Of course, it's hard for just about anyone to keep up with Curry, but he's roasting us from getting open shots top of arc. We have to clean it up. Don't give the pass so easily to begin with. Easier said than done, I know, but still.

Can't wait till Sidy gets some seasoning reps and shooting confidence.

Twice now Wemby deaked out team mates with quick clever passes we didn't expect. We'll get used to these. like the idea.

Dumb shot selection Sochan got baited into. LOOK AT OTHERS. He has this tendency to call his own number late in Qs when team mates are open. Don't like this tendency.

So Wemby missed bunny and Dev and of Q missed bunny BAH! We'll get these back. USE THE GLASS, SPURS, USE THE GLASS!

2ND Q: SPURS 55 WARRIORS 59

We settled for too many outside shots. Both teams made 5 3s this Q and we were 5-11 which is better than the 1ST Q's 3-12, but some missed bunnies and 6TOs (compared to only 2 in the 1ST Q) hampered us a bit in terms of getting shots off. Still, we are +6 in points off TOs with both teams at 9TOs.

We have one less basket made, a 3, and one less FT made. That's how close the game is.

Although they scored 5 fewer points, we scored 15 fewer this Q.

We have to be careful about the open top of arc 3s, make sure we protect the ball on rebounds better, and use the glass better.

Dev is back and cooking. Thank goodness because Branham is crosseyed again. Can't score, has more FGAs (5) than Cedi and Doug combined (4).

Sochan off ball stands out well, Sochan with ball is a BIT better in terms of finding open team mates behin him after drawing defenders into the paint, but picks up dribble too early and bizarrely takes end of Q shots with team mates open.

We did very well pushing the ball and passing quickly. We have to get back to what got us the lead and get more physical for points down low and FTs. More pressure on D to make life easier for ourselves on O. Good to great. Let's go.

Branham off ball is much better. If he keeps at perfecting that, he can be lethal.

Oh and we should probably not leave this team open at the arc. This team above all.

Familiar 3RD Q start, improved 3RD Q finish with a run to close it out and bring a 14-point deficit down to 5.

Better D pressure at perimeter, fighting through screens, and closing passing lanes.

Push at them. D to O. Stay poised and hungry.
