Wemby waits to long at perimeter to assess the situation and then make some sort of move, which in this case was a horizontal pass. Don't like his reads from out there, nor do I like Sochan beside him. Our 4-5 should not be at the arc.

We are MUCH better when we find ways to score inside rather than settle for/get lured into outside shots.

Bad on ball decisions - shot selection being the main one. Passing has been better, but frankly Wemby decisions at the perimater to pass sideways isn't optimal either.

Zach is better at the high low passes.

We MUST get inside points more while limiting theirs.

Sochan was late in swinging the ball out of the left baseline side. Had teammates pointing out to top of arc but instead he DRIBBLED DOWN LOW INTO THREE DEFENDERS ON THE STRONG SIDE. **** dumb. Passed out eventually, but again, wasting clock with just a mind-numbing decision.

Sochan is having a great half, leading us with 14 on 6-8, 2-3 from 3, 3 boards (team high 2 on O), 2 assists, 1 block, 1TO.

Branham has yet to score but leads us with 4 assists.

Devin disappointing with 5 of his 8FGAs from 3. TOO PASSIVE. CREATE and set up better shots, Devin! Better defensive activity.

Julian clicking with 3-4 from 3.

Keldon settling for outside shots as well. Leads the team with 10FGAs from the bench. Damn.

Then again, we need Wemby to not be as passive at the arc and not settle for 3s and not take so long maing decisions at the perimeter.

We need more from Doug and Cedi who have combined for 0-3.

Both teams have made 24 shots, and even though we have taken 4 more FGAs, and we have made five more 3s, we are an absolute woeful 3-5FTs to their 12-13FTs.

THINK.

Stop settling for 3s, set up better shots at the rim, keep moving off ball, run back on D, protect our rim. It really boils down to these elements.
