Sochan GREAT pass out to Keldon for the end of Q 3. This is the second time I've noticed where he found a teammate in this situation after chucking away with wanton abandon most of the season prior.

2ND Q: SPURS 40 GRIZZLIES 47

We lost this Q 27-17, despite this being our opponent's worst statistical Q. And considering how we play in 3RD Qs, we really needed to come out clicking better. But we had 8! more TOs, didn't take enough 3s (only 5-12) and with that not as much of a factor, we didn't manufacture nearly enough FTs; we have only 3-6 the entire first half to their 8-9.

10-2 start against; 10-3 finish against. We have to be very mindful of Q starts and finishes, though I do like that end of Q D to O and good pass out by Sochan to Keldon in the left corner.

Neither team is shooting it efficiently, but that four small with Wemby lineup did a lot of self-inflicted damage. Lots of TOs, rushed from the opponent physicality.

Wemby leads us with 11 on crisp 5-8, 1-2 from 3, with 5 boards and 4 blocks.

Someone give smelling salts to the rest of the starters, who are a COMBINED NINE POINTS: Julian 0-2; Sochan 1-2; Devin 1-4; Branham 1-5 in only 7 minutes played.

Bench contributing a 20-15 advantage.

We need to box out; focus on the details and fundamentals; bring more smart physicality;protect the ball; make good to great shots.

When Devin is draped up close by a defender, he backs up and makes passive passes. Now for a half-starting TO. He gets imposed on. It's a mentality approach that leads to these weak physical stances and bad plays.
