REALLY like the set up we executed on that Sochan 3. Drive, kick back, Cedi zip touch pass to the right side. The message that the ball gets there faster with a pass than a dribble seems to be seeping in.

1ST Q: SPURS 31 BUCKS 38

Well a couple of wonky D assignments early, 4 TOs in this Q but really overall much better compete level to start, good D to O, better rebounding.

Some better shot selection - not early clock 3s but set something up with cuts, P&Rs, etc., will help us.

We're facing a machine of an O but we can wear them down by running and hard hustle as we've show more of. Good start. Just play smarter.

Blake. THIS is the essence of the problem with him. Has TWO teammates to work with. Passes to neither, goes against a bigger defender, no change of angles to create space, no use of teammates to create space or better chances to score, get **** blocked.

2ND Q: SPURS 59 BUCKS 64

We're neck and neck with them. Difference right now is really just a couple of 3s made by them.

Eight of their TOs have been on 6 of our steals - really like our D to O transition play.

Memo to Blake - pass the ball to teammates.

We're rebounding well on both ends, fighting and boxing out and ganging up at our rim much better. Good fight and hustle.

Sochan and Wemby combining for 1-8 form 3 is suboptimal. I'd rather we get these shots to our 3s snipers and let these guys operate closer to the basket. Lots of wasted chances there.

Barlow has been flat out terrific on both ends. Great help D and blocks. Leads the team so far in blocks (2) and assists (4). Shooting 3-3.

Wemby is Wembying - some super highlight dunks, going anything you can do mode with flair. Only 3-7 because he's taken too many 3s. Five boards (team high 2 on O), 1 assist, steal, block.

Devin showing up early and creating shots inside. Good. Leads us with 14 on 6-11, 2-5 from 3, 2 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal.

Julian is only 0-1; Keldon is only 1-7 - these are underutilized O assets. Get Julian some more chances to shoot. We can't have 4 of 5 starters scoring. The tradeoff of his not needing the ball in his hands like Keldon does is that we must get him the ball more. Of those shots, Keldon is 1-3 from 3 but has 5 boards, and 1 assist.

We need ALL THREE of our main three scorers to be clocking. We need Keldon to show up on O, but his D has been noticeably better. Feet moving, upright stance, hands out, preventing drives and running out to contest 3s.

Blake 0-1 on that one drive where he had two teammates in transition and got blocked. THINK.

Tre struggled a bit at first in his first start of the season but has recovered to be our second player in double figures with 10 on 4-5, 2-2FTs. 3TOs is uncharacteristic but it's also an adjustment for him. Clicking better as the game progressed.

At times we still got caught with five Spurs in the paint on their kickouts so it's something to remedy.

We need to keep staying physical on the boards, protect the ball, set up shots better, and keep pushing the pace to get them caught on D, get them winded, get them fouling, impose our rhythm.

This is what I mean - Sochan just throwing the ball up at the basket erratically when contested by a bigger player. Why? What are you aiming at?

ANOTHER dumb choice - Julian is a sharp shooter. Fakes the 3, drives, and tries to dunk on the opposing C, gets blocked.

The BBIQ in some players needs seasoning. I know they're young, but oof these choices...

Over and over Sochan falls and does this legs back behind him dramatic roll. Guy, GET UP AND **** HUSTLE BACK ON D. Nobody wants to see the fall dramatics.
