He stripped Embiid down low for the ball, then too it end to end with two Spurs on either side.

Sochan GREAT MAN D on Embiid. Bodied him up top, swiping at ball from behind, forced a pass, then BOXED HIM OUT to allow Wemby the easy D board.

Again, Sochan has to release that rim shot earlier and higher versus opposing Cs.

2ND Q: SPURS 58 76ERS 62

Lessons all over the place, mainly with boxing out, and Pop burned a timeout after blowing a gasket on a multiple chance putback wherein we boxed out nobody and eventually gave up a basket.

But our D to O is there, making up for the 3s not falling this Q (only 1-8). We are trying perhaps to overcome the FTs disparity with 3s and it's going how it's going.

Speaking of which, we are at 6-7FTs for the half to their 14-18. Embiid is 12-12 LMAO ooooookkkkkkkkkkkk...

Wemby is at 18/4/1 in only 14 minutes. Some impressive moves on both ends, and some rushed shots from inexperience and perhaps wanting to make something happen. Still, we did well to fight back from an 8-point deficit.

Sochan pressing and going tunnel vision at times but struggling with 1-6.

Julian 7 points on 2-3, but Tre only 0-1. He's contributing all over the place but we have to get him more chances. Lots of work on both ends. Reward him.

Bench only 15 points total.

Blake ahead of Branham who has NOT PLAYED YET THIS GAME. That's FIVE QUARTERS IN A ROW in which he has not played. Blake leads the bench with 11 minutes, some stellar man D, great running transition for a couple of D to O buckets.

Zach struggling 0-4, 0-3 from 3, but contributing still with 4 boards (2 on O), 3 assists.

Doug (7), Keldon (4), Blake (4) doing good work.

27-20 against in rebounding and 13-5 on O boards (!!!) must get addressed. After that Pop rage timeout, we did rebound better and there was even some boxing out and ripping of the ball form opponent hands. So looks like we woke up a bit. Keep it up.

I like the pressure we put on Embiid with Sochan man D and then doubling him away from the basket so it wasn't just all on our bigs. Wemby has 3 fouls, two up biting on pump fakes.

I like our D to O pressure, off-ball movement, and selflessness. Keep up the even stingier D, keep it clean, REBOUND, and make the shots good to great.

Vessell then hesitates and actually looked to pass it back to Wemby at the top of the key but Wemby was long gone and he nearly turns it over..... THATS WHAT YOU GET BLACK HOLE!

Devin's hit and miss with those to Wemby down low, I concede it. They're better in P&Rs, but that's a dedicated two-man play. Not every pass has to be to Wemby, it's ok to use him as a decoy, but for sure reward the guy for doing all the hard work sealing down low and getting banged up for it.
