Following up that run with a Mavs run to end the half... frustrating.

2ND Q: SPURS 68 MAVS 64

We allowed and end of Q run - no bueno.

But we're ahead despite only 7 assists this Q (18 overall so far), but we doubled up on the TOs for 6 so far. That said, everyone who's played has registered at least 1 assist. Excellent!

We're being efficient but somehow it's a bit lower than expected relative to the shots we're getting namely too many missed layups.

MR. DEVIN VASSELL. Absolute diamond. SO happy we have him, and re-signed him. Showing confidence, ability to score in a variety of ways, good passing, and very solid D - just a wonderful SG.

Don't like Malaki in with Wemby. Branham is shooting 50% (0-3 from 3) but in his case it's almost always about how he's getting his points - they must be more within team concept than against it, and it's still an issue.

We're only 8-11FTs - have to get our physicality going more.

Zach is showing well with 50% shooting and 2 blocks.

We're a bit clumsy at times. It's a heady experience for everyone. After all the trials to get here, we have to get used to big crowds, big attention, and best to get to blocking all the noise out early.

I like how Keldon is finding his way to score like he did last year. Also, his leading us with 5 assists is terrific.

Cedi looks to be our Doug now. Fitting in nicely. Would like to see some of Julian if Doug isn't scoring. It's pretty much his main purpose, along with running off ball well to get open.

Tre is 6th man based on minutes - the lone bench player with double digits in MPG.

We have to lay a body more on their best players.

We got hampered a bit by two of our best players getting two fouls each, but I hope we make more of our weapons. Sixty-eight points is great, but 64 against is not. Feels like we feel like we have to stay running and gunning to stay ahead. Have to run back on D, play together more.
