Second 30+ point Q. Good.

Got to the FT line plenty and made them well for 19-23. Good.

Winning the rebounding battle 23-17 and 5-1 on O boards. Good.

Fifteen assists, 4 steals, 4 blocks (3 by Wemby) to only 5TOs. Excellent.

Cedi led us in the 1ST with 10 and then didn't get a shot in the 2ND but twin Doug stepped up with 5 on 2-4, 1-3 from 3.

Mamu is a very smart, impactful player. I get playing Bassey for the beefed up presence and bounce, but I hope Mamu has shown enough to get more minutes. Good rim touch, good rim protection as well as arc protection with that 3 block, and can hit a 3.

Doug and Keldon each made a mid range J. Beautiful. Nice to see us taking advantage of all that space from guys who don't normally take these shots. Each also showed some good recognition with making extra passes.

Sometimes we overcook with the passes by using Wemby as a decoy. Looking off him is not a good idea when he has a MUCH smaller mismatch on him and has worked to get open and set up in the post. We make it more difficult for him when we passit to go up against more physical players.

Branham tunnel vision is by choice. You can tell because he makes the right quick read and pass but looks off them at other times in favour of his own shot. End to end early 3 misses without anyone else touching the ball is the exact opposite of what we need.

We have the potential of all five starters hitting double digits as Wemby already leads us with strong 15.

Third Q - we MUST keep up the physicality, we must keep up the pressure, we must put together a winning second half. Protect the ball, protect the arc, protect the paint, play hard.

Pop told Wemby to make sure he has balance before he makes a decision. Don't rush before getting that balance. It's one of the things that will help Wemby. He tends to get out-physicalled (we also have to get him the ball sooner for him to take better advantage) and then he also settles for outside Js too much. I think it has to do with conserving energy as well. He did inside work early in the 1ST, then he pulls back, but like now on that right baseline J he had space to operate and settled for the J. Take him off the dribble. Shot selection and shot creation and conditioning.
