Pels commentator just said our drought was 4.5 minutes. We can't afford that with our D. But a lot of the was also self inflicted - too many TOs and settling for too many outside Js too early in the clock.

We look fatigued which tends to lead to the mental mistakes we have been seeing. But then play guys with lesser minutes in their legs and more energy.

3RD Q: SPURS 81 PELICANS 89

After a poor TO-laden and bad shot-selecting first half of the Q, we got guys in with more zip in their legs and we put together a decent run to cut a double digit deficit of 13 at one point down to 6 late before they hit a 3 on their final shot of the Q.

Same pattern to start, still, to close it to 26-20 by the end of the Q is solid.

If we have to keep bombing away from 3, we have to defend better - run back on D, help D, box out, protect the ball better. Every play counts.
