We won the Q 31-28 on the strength of tighter D at the rim and more drives the other way. Credit to Cedi and Keldon for getting to the rim with determination, with honourable mention to Doug and Branham. Of course, we need to give it to Wemby more.

Wemby leads us with an almost double double already 10/9. And team high 3 assists. And team high 3 blocks.

Devin with 2-6 but four of those from 3 is not what we need from him (he's is 2-4 from the arc).

Keldon has yet to make a 3 (0-3) but is 4-7 overall from physical drives. KEEP THAT UP! ANd the rest of the Spurs, follow suit!

Sochan and Zach with really good man (Sochan) and help D (both). We need Sochan to wake up on O since switching to PF. Less to do on O but O has fallen off. Bad shot selection, too slow with decisions with the ball in his hands, and as we've been discussing, no lift. Has to get craftier, quicker.

We are down 5-2 on O boards so some attention there will help. Also, better positioning - boxing out - on both ends will help, though we are crashing well.

We MUST GUARD THE ARC BETTER. More physicality. More pace. More poise. More fundamentals. More focus.

Well it started well. For lie a couple of minutes or so. Then it went to the ****. We scored 27, but allowed 44(!)

We were 3-10 from 3 to their 5-9 from the arc.

Like Sean is saying, we are not crisp enough nor are we aggressive enough. We faced a bigger team last game and pushed harder at them. Not the case thus far this game.

Not enough downhill push, not enough physicality, not enough toughness, not enough smart shot creation and selection. And not enough arc stops, not only contests but running back on D and running forward in transition. Play harder. Smarter. Better.

For every bucket we score we allow like a 5-6 point run against. Nevermind the 2s for 3s exchange, now it's a 2s for three times that exchange. OOF.
