We won this Q a healthy 38-23 and we won the 50/50 balls and hustle plays en route to build momentum.

Turns out we are good in that scrambling type of game.

The 3-2 zone has been terrific, the man D has been very good, the help D has been stepping up, and rim protection has been very solid, both with rebounds and with collapsing to prevent easy drives.

That's a dominant impression in this one - no easy buckets. Adn that was apparent with Keldon's hard foul that prevented a dunk but got him a F1.

Wemby only played 11 minutes, scoring 11 points but on 3-8, 1-2 from 3, 4-4FTs, with 8 boards (2 on O), 1 assist, 2 blocks, but 3 TOs (team high). He brought the ball down to the level of swiping hands too many times and this is an opponent that does a lot of that.

We got caught a few times early on the swiping hands but adjusted well with physicality and really impressive D.

Of course, Doug caught absolute fire, making 4-6 from 3, leading the team with 12 points.

Devin has been passing and driving well.

Branham has been scoring well, too.

Blake, good effort staying with their PG.

Sochan has been an absolute beast on D, and on his switching, rebounding, shot making, Wemby finding, **** talking best.

Very good all around team effort.

Now we have to increase the momentum keep building on good D to O, stay physical, protect the ball and rim, and create good to great makes.

We won this one on the foundations of a Wemby ABSOLUTE HEATER OF A START TO THE Q, scoring 15 points on 100%FG in just over 3 minutes.

SO SO SPECIAL.

We have 103 points on 67FGAs.

We settled a bit for 3s at some point and the momentum waned a bit but our D activity and rim protection kept it up.

Blake on that last possession was suspiciously doing the wrong thing for a PG - passing the ball to the strong side but Keldon made the Hail Mary left corner 3.

I'm astonished how each game Wemby shows something incredible.

Sochan has been very very good.
