Of the far better halves we've put together. The effort was there, the willingness to take the physical punishment for it we knew was coming was there, the hustle was there, and the O boards and extra passes were all there.

We also finished the Q on a stop, score 2+1, stop.

Great ball sharing - we have 22 assists on 28 made FGs.

I like that we're not settling for 3s but really forcing the pace and physicality driving at them, this from high screens which gives ups multiple options to score. We forced them into zone D because of it.

And when they caught us and took a brief one-point lead, we forced the issue again.

Sochan has been an absolute banger on both ends. He loves this style of play and I love him for it. Leads us with 7 boards, tied with Wemby for team high 3 on O.

Wemby played only 5 minutes in the 1ST Q but came back strong to lead us with 14. He's quicker in figuring out how to get advantages facing up bigs.

Devin 12 on 5-9, 2-4 from 3 is a terrific shot profile. Impactful.

Tre 1-2 from 3, driving the hell out of the ball. Stutter steps, finishing right hand on left side with the wrong foot, scoops, under and shots over swiping hands.

Julian has had a resurgent game especially on D. Very active, smart, disruptive, impactful.

Zach is back to looking more like his old nasty self, making 4-8, battling on the boards.

Blake was a blur, passing well. Team high 5 assists.

And you know who passed well? Branham. That's right. Playing within the team concept. Good.

Well we're flirting with momentum changing. We got a big lead in the 1ST Q, then we lost each of the next two by just a little and a little more to be giving a slither of light.

Close it.

Close that door shut and keep leaning into it.

We had a 12-point lead this Q, our biggest of the game, but made some mistakes and gave up some rebounds that led to second chance points.

We are not getting calls despite getting hit on drives. We must keep pushing the physicality. Clearly there's more room as we're abosbing a **** ton of it.
