Spurs at Warriors 1/7/08

Post#1 » by Ballings7 » Mon Jan 7, 2008 8:01 am

Spurs win by 6.

Not ruling out an upset, though. Because of being on the 2nd of a BTB, and Duncan might play less than usual.

Wow, it's already January. I'm aiming after the Super Bowl for me to start complaining about our problems. For now, let's have some fun.

Warriors are always fun to watch and play against. SJax is my favorite player on their team. Nelson and Pop are beer buddies. Should be fun to watch. Should be a close game too.

I have a feeling we'll struggle. I'll predict a loss. b2b and it's againts a fast paced team. away game. i don't think GS have anyone injured. Barry is still out. Manu just got back. Duncan not his usual self. Parker don't exactly look better than last year IMO and i kinda expect a better season every year from him.

Another loss coming up. Duncan banged up from last night, i wouldn't be suprised if he sits this one out. Manu still feeling his way back from injury. Naturally being a B2B we'll be slow and lethargic even without the injuries.

tough to beat Golden State on a back to back with the way we've been playing lately, especially on the road..

Hoping for the W.

Outside of when Tony struggled some with the ankles for a small amout of games, I think he's been quite good. Think he's having his best passing season, too.

I'm looking forward to this one actually. I love it when we are shorthanded or struggling in the regular season and go on the road against a tough team in a tough place to play. You get glimpses of some guys' heart and see who we can count on.

While not in that form yet, maybe we could blow them out like in the 2nd half of the season last year :)

At least by 15-20 pts

That 1st qtr was a good example of when shots aren't falling - you can always play defense.

Dictating that tempo... 19-17 after 1, 31 percent and 25 percent shooting.

that is disgusting..we should have closed this one out after we made the comeback..

there is nobody on the team that can guard Baron..he has just completely taken over the game..

we sent this one to OT somehow off DUncan's 3-point play and TP's 3..and then a huge letdown in OT..where was the D? Baron was in a zone, so there was nothing we could have done there..but Manu's D was poor throughout the OT period..Duncan couldn't score on Biedrins on his field goals..bad fouls..

should have won this game..the road woes continue..

Very, very good game to watch.

But you can't deny that even in OT the W's were always going to win this game; you guys were just not going to take it from us tonight.

Good luck, lets meet for the WCF :D
