Became a Seahawks fan at the beginning of the season (call me a bandwagon and whatnot but I also just began watching football this season too), and have visited the city a couple of times.

Anyone else? :D

You're a Lakers "fan" and a Seahawks "fan" as of 2014... that doesnt scream bandwagoner at all...

I know it is retro as all hell, but I kind of like the 1967 one too...

I like the one from 1975 too. That's the logo when the Sonics won a championship. That is the logo the Sonincs are most remembered by.

I actually dated a girl who's dad worked for Ackerley and he created one of the logo's for the Sonics. I think it was the 1971 logo but I'm not sure. Easily the best dad out of all my ex's. He had season tickets, I was living in Bellingham at the time, so we only went to one game but it was against Chris Webber and the Golden State Warriors.

F''n F the last logo that Schultz came up with we need to torch everything that dude touched.

However I'd really dig it if they had an alternate jersey like this one. But in white or green.

67 is great too

Can't wait for you guys to get a squad again. One of my first live nba games was in Key with Payton battling a young Andre miller on the Cavs.

It looks really nice but also it looks a lot like football (soccer) logo.

I do wish they and Seattle would both get teams . I'm down with a 34 team league.

Where to put the teams in the east though?

New Jersey and....

Kansas City or Baltimore. Or maybe no to NJ and just choose those two?

Sonics will always be my 1B team... moved to Seattle when I was 10 and when I moved to CA I worked in the neighborhood of Gary Payton Sr, who gave my whole NorCal basketball team those fugly Glove shoes (but were awesome back in the day) for free.. always gave me Sonics swag and brought a bunch of us into his home to practice. Got to meet Nate McMillan, Ricky Pierce, Detlef Schrempf and the BrickHouse-skee..

I can't wait for them to get a team again. I was so pumped when they were going to take the Sacto franchise but Vivek decided to ruin that and then the team.. oh well. I kinda prefer if Sonics were built through an expansion draft anyways.

Teams Colors

When the Seattle Supersonics eventually return to the court are the colors of green and yellow untouchable? The question came to mind because Seattle as a city has Green and Blue (varying shades) as the team colors for football, soccer, and baseball.
Would the Supersonics want to join in that unity?
Or, tradition over everything?
Or, is there a compromise out there?

I'm on the fence. Both have weight imo

It's Green & Gold.

No those colors are synonymous with the Sonics.

I absolutely love the green + red colors of the late 90s. Those were easily the best jerseys ever worn by an NBA team ever.

Exactly. If the Supersonics come back, they have to have these jerseys!

I too prefer the late 90's colors/uniforms but it seems most Sonics fans don't.

As a kid, I had my walls painted green and gold.

GREEN & GOLD BABY.

They are my 1B as well, thanks to Gary Payton and Gary Payton Sr, my old AAU coach

Hopefully they don't go back to that late 90s sh. The green/gold ones from 95 and earlier were classics and looked good.
