2008 Sonics Resolutions

Post#1 » by djthesonicsfan » Thu Jan 3, 2008 11:41 pm

It's that time of year. Here's what I think should be the Sonics' resolutions...

- Give M Sene NBA minutes (or trade him to Utah for R Brewer  )
- Trade L Ridnour and/or E Watson for expirings
- Trade K Thomas for expirings and a pick or a prospect
- Get R Swift on the court enough to find out if he can still play
- Draft D Rose, or at least J Bayless if D Rose is already gone
- Resign D West
- An arena agreement

In order for us to enjoy any of these resolutions, should they come true, the last resolution HAS to happen. That's the number one resolution!

I'd just like to see a healthy Robert Swift and some regular minutes for Mo Sene.

Green and Durant starting has already happened had that not have it would have been one of them in my list also.

Have any of you guys lost faith in Robert Swift?

And in response to trading away Earl/Luke....Atlanta's board was proposing trades to us including Tyronn Lue. I'd love for people to realize that we already have point guards.

I haven't, he's injured and he clearly wasn't healthy at the start of the season. I'm a big believer in him.

I never had any faith in him...

My own personal resolution is to stop throwing things at the TV during Sonics games. Last night I threw a beer bottle cap when Durant and Thomas watched that loose ball squirt free towards the end of the game... I should probably stop that.

Lue has an expiring deal, as do Lorenzen Wright and Anthony Johnson and I'd take any two of those three for Watson.
