This really **** sucks. Hopefully somebody steps up and brings a new franchise to your city and restores the Sonics name.

Blazer fan here, I am so sorry to hear about this, this is definitley a tragic day. I can't even think how you Sonic fans feel, probably like your hearts have been ripped out of you guys, but I am truley sorry to hear about your loss. I will miss the I-5 rivalry, and now it makes it harder for me to want to cheer for the Sonics (as well as Durant and Westbrook with them in that lesser city) when they are not playing the Blazers. I hope the best for all of you and once again I am sorry.

I'm a Bobcats fan, not a Sonics fan, and I'm still incredibly bitter about this

I would imagine since the lease is being bought out and the move has already been approved for this season, then it would happen this year. There's no way anyone would agree to leave the team here for this year because it would be extremely ugly.

At least the 'Sonics' name will stay in Seattle and OKC will have to have a new team name.
