New OKC Forum: Must Read For Seattle Fans

Post#1 » by bennith13 » Sun Jul 6, 2008 8:52 pm

There is now a new OKC forum for the unnamed team there. While we are all sad and upset of what has happened in Seattle please do not go over to that forum to cause problems. The admis have said they will have a zero tolerance policy for any posters causing trouble in regards to OCK and Seattle.... OKC fans have the same zero tolerance policy on them if they chose to come here and cause trouble.

This Seattle SuperSonics forum is going to stay open for the time being, so I suggest we use it to talk about basketball, and what we can do to get a new team in Seattle.

LOL oh my lord. That is the PERFECT moderator for that board.

It would have been nice if there was a ZERO tolerance policy when the OKC fans started trolling in here two years ago..but what the hey, what can you do?

It's a real shame that we had to put up with so much crap for what seemed like an enternity. I guess 0 tolerance only goes one way.

With regards to a zero tolerance policy with OKC posters...any posters who crossed the line were dealt with. By my count 4-5 posters were waived for flipping us **** over the past year...I did what I could...

It's like you and I share a mental link...ha ha ha.

I have faith in the ability of Sonics' fans to be classy. It's certainly not the OKC's board fault that the Sonics are gone, and if any of them come over here and turn into OSage reborn, they'll be dealt with...just as severely as if a Sonics goes over there and flies off the handle. There's room for both to co-exist. Some anti-OKC feelings are to be expected (I'm certainly not above it), but it's certainly more appropriate for venting to remain here and not venture over there.

I'm sorry, this seems like a petty question, but can we actually say the following sentence without having OKC trolls coming in and whining???

I HATE THE PEOPLE OF OKLAHOMA!!!!!

Ah, that felt great. If it's not okay, then disregard but it's still true.

And I can't say why anyone should be able to deprive you have that feeling, honestly. Even if you don't know them personally, they're still benefiting from something at our expense, more or less...so yeah, resentment? Hard to argue it's not a perfectly natural emotion.

Still there's a big difference between airing grievances amongst similarly suffering Sonics fans on here, and going over the OKC board and telling them all to go to hell. No good will come of it, and quite frankly, they have a higher card in their hand than anything any of us could play to get their collective goat if ya know what I mean...

Funny!

I may be a lot of things but I am not a troll.

I actually came close to making a post saying enjoy my Sonics but then I decided it would just be better if I never post in there.......ever.

Just so you know Dick I will honor our wager if Seattle ever gets a team back and we are still in contact via forums. Since Ray played in so many games last season I'm expecting and early November ankle break. My boy Larry Huges still has a chance to be an iron man.

Weren't you suspended once already? I recall some dispute with a Sacremento King's moderator. Or, perhaps, it was your decision to post controversial pictures. But I may be misremembering.

I've been suspended a few times but none were for trolling.

I'm not even going to lurk the OKC forum. To continue the "girlfriend leaving you" analogy that has been used several times, checking out the OKC forum would feel like stalking.

^I agree.

I think there is a few undercover Oklahoma people in here though...not going to name names, but I can tell by the way they post where they're from. And they're trying very hard not to give themselves away.

Wiff doesn't have the discipline to maintain a double life - I think he's genuine. What about Anjonez, aka, the Urban Zealot?
