I saw the headline and thought of you sonic-ben. Low and behold you made a topic. You must be happy.

Very presti esque player.

What a draft... Russell Westbrook, DJ White, Kyle Weaver. With Serge Ibaka coming over in a year or two. And Devon Hardin held in reserve. Along with Kevin Durant & Jeff Green from last year.

I'm with you ben. I'm so hoping Yarmouth wins.

I'm still following the Oklahoma City team. I'm not cheering for them, but I must admit I'll be following them pretty closely. It looks like the first steps in a successful rebuild process.

I'm with you on this. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the team (not like the Sonics) but I can't help following them/keeping tabs on what's going on. There's more to the team than just what city they played in, I really like Presti and a lot of the players on the team.

Part of me wants to just put aside my contempt for the whole moving thing and root for the team as best I can given the circumstances.

Hey guys, I just want to say that it's awesome how you can just put things to the side like that and are still able to follow the team. We all deal with our losses differently. I'm not saying this to be sarcastic (I know tone can be misconstrued on forums), just wanted to applaud those of you who can still handle following the team because it hurts too much for me.

Do you think this deal would have happened if the city followed through with the court case and the Sonics were ordered to stay here another two years? My guess is that we'd be seeing little to no moves being made. Not trying to knock Presti, but Bennett.

Well, I also follow most of the teams in the NBA pretty closely.

Once the season approaches and posts about the abomination in Oklahoma become commonplace, I think i'll finally be able to wean myself from posting in Sonics forums and just stick to catching an occasional NBA game on TV as I still have (some) interest in the sport (minus our former team). Thankfully, so far OKC is only slated for one nationally televised game this season.

That'll look good hanging under the shelf where you display your Clay Bennett bobblehead.

Having Joe Smith means more time for Collison at Center.
Having Desmond Mason means you can kiss wilkens playing time goodbye.
Having Westbrook means Luke got traded. We have defense on the perimiter. Finally.

PG: Watson/Westbrook
SG: Durant/Mason
SF: Green/Mason
PF: Wilcox/Smith/Harden
C: Collison/Petro

Petro showed some good flashes last year... Updates on Swift and Sene?

Im guessing with our PF so stacked... Green is not going to play power forward.
