That's not necessarily true. If you get a lot of steals because you're constantly overplaying your man and overplaying the passing lanes, which would allow your man an open path to the hoop when your gamble fails, then you would be a pretty awful defender.

Understandable...But still, playing the passing lanes, and overplaying players is still an aspect of defence. Maybe not a good strategy but some teams encourage players to play that way as they have good help defenders to make up for it if the player falters.

Either way though...Caron has above average D in my opinion.

Richard Lewis is not even better than Turkoglu this year. Especially if you watch last night game or some of the other Magic games. It could be that Lewis is coming back from injury but Turkoglu initiates some of their offense.

I have both on my fantasy team (Lewis and Turk) so I know their daily output :P

It's interesting how consistently the criteria for 'should make it' shifts to coincide with our situation.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Haha, yeah. Two years ago, people were a-okay with a player from a terrible team making the all-star game when that player was Bosh. Now the Raptors have a winning team, so obviously a team's record should be considered...

personally i don't think chris really deserves to make it this year. i'm still a fan of course. Not making the team would light a hell of a fire under his ass, i bet you that.
