I know OG the better player, but how can you watch Hart play 48 mins balls to the wall and not see that?

Hart has been crazy good. I don't know where this is all coming from in regards to him. But he's been incredible.

I've always liked him, especially for fantasy because hes a great rebounder as a guard/wing but bro just went super saiyan last night, 48 minutes and high energy 48 mins at that

I think most of us were on board with getting Hart + #7 (Sharpe) from Portland for OG. But many were greedy for more. Was Masai?

These two will combine to make around 90 mill next year.

Damn, I wish I was a foot taller and good at basketball.

Proving that a lot of it is about timing. Imagine if Donte was a FA this summer as opposed to last summer? He would easily get 4/100 instead of the 4/50 the Knicks gave him. Josh Hart would easily get 130M this summer. Sometimes you just get lucky with your UFA year.

Imagine if Naz Reid was available now. Wolves got him locked up at the right time.

I predict that he gets the max but is a flat 4 year deal, so like 42 million per or they start him at max and give him 5 years but it descends. They can afford to overpay him next season as long as his percentage of the cap is declining after that. He can still say he got a max contract.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Can't believe we only got 3 first round picks for him, should've gotten 6.

OG is so injury prone it's unbelievable.

The dude missed 32 games in 2023-2024, 15 games in 2022-2023, 34 games in 2021-2022, 29 games in 2020-2021...

I don't know about you but I'd be hard pressed to pay a guy 40m a year who only plays 60% of the season.

First round of the playoffs - Raptors are buffoons for trading these guys.

Second round of playoffs - Can you count on these guys on $40-$55M annual deals if you're trying to make a championship run?

I love them both, but their impact is limited without a couple of true stars ahead of them. Pascal is closer to Aaron Gordon than he is to a #2. OG I would've been happy to keep forever though, despite the injury issues. He's just a perfect plug and play guy for every team.

Some Knicks fans think he will get 30-35. I still insist he's getting 40. including playoffs, he has played 31 games for them and missed 32 (and counting). This will be fascinating to see what he ultimately gets.

I am so glad the Raps won't be the ones giving that contract. We already know he's missing the next 2 games but would any of us really be surprised if he is out for at least 3-4 weeks? I hope he isn't because I want to see less injuries, and I personally think having the Pacers somehow fluke their way to the ECF is bad for the game.

Yes, these playoffs have shown why both players are valuable and also why it might have been right for Raptors to move on from them. It's been fun watching them though and I hope OG comes back from injury in this series.

He might be traded this year. He will opt out next year and wolves can cash out a higher value and take away their tax liability.

I’d bring him back if it’s 42M per year for four years. He’s worth that in the new cap era.

Wait...that last number is FT%, right? WTF?

He's made 4 of his last 14 attempts. Overall in the playoffs he's 14-32 from the line. It's really bad.

It is weird Pascal has been shooting so bad.

You would think that his dominance the first 2 games would give him more confidence, but the opposite has happened.

Pascal played decent in the 2022 playoffs, but one thing that's alarming is his 3 point shooting takes a nose dive in the playoffs:

2019: 37% from 3 in regular season vs. 28% in the playoffs
2020: 36% from 3 in regular season vs. 19% in the playoffs
2022: 35% from 3 in regular season vs. 24% in the playoffs
2024: 35% from 3 in regular season vs. 25% in the playoffs

He turns from a pretty good outside shooter into an atrocious outside shooter, and that's the difference between your team being a 1st round exit and a conference finals level team. If Pascal shoots his normal 35% from 3 in the playoffs, Raptors probably go to the finals in 2020 and possibly beat the Sixers in 2022.

Or TWolves can trade Towns to get under the luxury tax, which their owner has avoid paying in the past. They could deal him to the Knicks for Randle and picks. Both Randle and Reid's contracts expire the same year, so the TWolves could use Randle's money to pay Reid.
