Is this Cack thing really going to become a "thing". I really hope not.

Sure, they'll make the playoffs... but this squad still gets slaughtered in the first round. Sounds like a waste of time to me if they're just going to lose Chris and the 2010 first rounder in the summer.

In the meanwhile DeMar won't develop as quickly with reduced PT this year and Bargnani's progression has been stunted (his offensive role has been diminished compared to last season from January on).

Anyone have a gif of TJ's pregame :x face? That was pretty ridiculous.

It's nice that we're finally outrebounding teams consistently. Too bad it's not helping our defensive efficiency.

Tough game for Demar, I don't think he should be punished for not matching up well with Granger. The guy just shoots over people. It's games like this where you wonder if Demar wouldn't be better getting minutes off the bench. Though Jack and Belinelli were big for us, so there weren't many minutes.

Instead of "Cack", I think their nickname should be "Jose" but with the J standing for Jarrett.

Best game this season so far from Bosh. We need more of this from him.

Not sure why people keep bringing up his offense. We scored a sh*tload of points.

We don't need him to score a ton to be successful.

I would take 12 boards & 4 blocks with 15 points any day from him

over

30+ points, 10 boards, 1 block & poor defense. (this is not what we need from him)

Now all we need from him is to improve his shot selection.

Like I said, I'm not taking anything from this game. Jose plays well whenever he has TJ Ford under him and Jack was fired up playing against his former team.

I'll give it a second thought if they can repeat this the next game.

Not sure Hudo has gotten his props in this thread yet, he had an amazing stat line:

14 pts on 5-7 shooting, 3 blk, 4 reb, 2 stl, 7 ast

We need him to play like this all year, playing good D, pushing the ball in transition and just being the glue guy that holds everything together.

There you are!

Give it a thought, and ask yourself if you are one of those haters that would actually trade Calderon for Baron Davis  .

I agree. Unfortunately, CB4 is in a contract year and that first stat wont get him the recognition he wants.

It seems that this team has given up the notion of defense and will try and outscore everybody from here on in. In other words we will become the Golden State Raptors, not the Phoenix Raptors because at least the Suns were middle of the pack defensively. Not good and what kind of message does that send long term if there has even been any thought about long term plans by management. That we're destined to squeak into the playoffs and hope for the best. It still seems that BC values entertaining basketball over effective winning basketball. That's too bad.

Tonite's win was kinda blah to me despite scoring 123 points. They can't get away with doing what they did tonite at either end against a real team.

Are you serious? You can't be serious. Baron Davis only looks bad because of his contract and his team, but other than that he'll run circles around Jose and no GM would ever complete that deal.

I'd trade Jose for Baron any day of the week.

@ J Dilla. You brought up two interesting points. His contract and his team. Im actually a fan of his but Baron Davis's contract is too bloated and is not worth trading anyone we got for really. Second point, the team. We have the best offensive team in the league. Why would we trade Calderon, one of the most efficient pg's in the league so we can get another volume scorer(which we don't need) who is really only better then Jose at running an uptempo team(which we really aren't that much).

So yes, I am serious. If you really wanna trade Jose, do it for a good defensive pg who won't hurt our offense too much and doesnt cost much, so we can upgrade another position. Don't do it for Baron **** Davis.

I said this before, I live in LA County so I get Clippers and Lakers games all the time, and Baron Davis is basically like Sonny Weems except with better ballhandling and passing. He'll shoot you out of games with his awful shot selection and he has excellent court vision but it is put to waste with his chucking. I'd rather trust Eric Gordon run the team than Barons Davis.
