I’ve watched him play about 40 games over the past couple of years. He can’t guard at a NBA level

Pace of the game pretty much took Edey out. He was completely gassed again two minutes into the second half. Literally moving like he's wearing cement blocks.

Is it known?? Cuz in the Edey thread he got a lot of truthers. I’ve been saying situational big in the league the whole time. Rasho was big and slow but he could screen, rebound, and clog the paint. I don’t even see that with Edey. He’s closer to Boban than people want to admit.

Not trying to throw any shade at your insight. But the guy is slow and gets lost on defense. Tonight he has to hedge so much because he’s not getting any help from his team. Probably can improve with better athletes around him or a better system, or his own work, but it’s been a theme. IMHO.

I'm looking at Edey's hands more than anything. Some rebounds were definitely in his range and I didn't see his hands reach for them at all. Maybe a fatigue thing.

Edey hasn't been bad at all tonight. He's been better than Clingan. He's been stafted on many calls tonight. Legitimately impressed with his stamina.
