i gotta say i was so wrong about siakam. i truly thought he would step up if he had a true first option beside him.

It wouldn’t be a bad idea to run some iso post ups for him. Ball isn’t really in his hands and his finishing is a bit lackadaisical

Carlyle wants that flowing offense for the whole game with Siakam in the connector role, but he has to tap the only other guy on their roster besides Hali that creates advantage when the O grinds to a halt.

The recipe is there for them. Do screens to generate a mismatch advantage at the nail. Let Siakam feel the defender on his hip while the Knicks D sends help from somewhere and either make the open pass or draw fouls/attack. But coaches are stubborn.

If the Pacers lose this series its because the scrubs on the Pacers did not get Pascal and Hali involved enough. Carlisle needs to step in.

Why do people even think Tyrese is a first option scorer on a contender ? He’s an elite playmaker and a very good scorer but first option on a contender ? I don’t even think Dame is that at his peak.

Knicks are stacked. If they make the finals this year they'll probably lose but be favorites next year at full strength and more. A draft pick and MLE signing would go a long way. They should consider finding a better coach too.

they need still to get more offensive firepower. right now, its just brunson and randle is not a good enough robin.

Hart, Hartenstein, and DDV are developing. The Knicks are what Ujiri wanted the Siakam and Fred Raptors to be. They have decent players who they have in slightly bigger roles than they should be in and they are performing.

Randle was playing better, different, in his month with OG. But yeah they need another scorer, probably get one this summer. I wanted them to get Demar at the deadline instead of Burks/Bogs. A scorer like him would have been perfect. We'll see what they do this summer
