Who's the 1st option? The guy that keeps disappearing on the road but will be mean mugging and flexing those scrawny arms in Game 6?

The mugging and face making was absent tonight. He's a frontrunner.

Just another stinker where he fades as usual. 8 of his 9 2nd half points came in the 5min he played in the 4th when the game was long over. Absolute fraud.

gonna be interesting what happens to siakam in the offseason if they lose this series. would be a wake up call to lose to this depleted knicks team

they need still to get more offensive firepower. right now, its just brunson and randle is not a good enough robin.

Randle was playing better, different, in his month with OG. But yeah they need another scorer, probably get one this summer. I wanted them to get Demar at the deadline instead of Burks/Bogs. A scorer like him would have been perfect. We'll see what they do this summer

Hard to forget that first game after the trade, when the Knicks (without Mitch, IIRC) absolutely destroyed the T-Wolves. This team with Randle will fly.

Did Thibs just play Brunson 43 minutes in a 30 point blowout? As a coach, he really is a parody of himself.

Can’t believe they called Nesmith on that foul. Clear foul on Brunson. NBA is salivating over a Knicks/Celtics ECF.

That's an interesting question. Does the league want the bigger market NY or the team that's more at full strength?.

lol come on Walt. You know the answer to that.

However, I’m not saying the refs are going to try and influence the result. The better team will ultimately win the series. On the General Board I picked the Knicks in 6, I think they might close it out. Been a great series though. Knicks showed a tremendous amount of grit.

They're getting a decent KAT game but unfortunately Ant is missing.

Haliburton is still only 24 but I don’t think his game translates well as a 1st option. The Pacers basically have two very good 2nd options but are just lacking that elite scorer. The fact they are surrounded by a lot of inexperienced, young players certainly doesn’t help.

With the amount of parity in this league, they did well in going out and getting Pascal though. They are two wins away from an ECF and got a lot of young players that will only get better. They got a solid team and series isn’t over. I’m sure they are going to come strong in game 6 at home.

Another thing they learned from the Conley injury is they should likely have him come off the bench so that they have a bigger defender to start off on Murray

The league loves a seven game series, that's why I wondered about the Pacers being full strength. But Boston would sweep them anyway.

I want to believe the refs don't influence the result but I've watched the NBA too long to be sure. When a billion dollar business "salivates" over a certain possible outcome, it's easy to believe they would try to make it happen.

Imagine you took a time machine to 8 years ago and you were tasked to describe what Jokic would do to the league and what kind of player he was. Nobody would believe it.

Probably the best thing to say would be "A version of Aryvas Sabonis in his prime who will win multiple MVPs and chips while running the offense alternating between point forward and low-post C"

I find it hilarious how much Pascal seems to trigger you. He just continues to live rent free in your head despite the fact he has not been on our team for 4 months now. The fact his team is two wins away from an ECF must make your blood boil.

The Pacers were down 20 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Pascal’s points helped cut the lead to 12 with 9 minutes left. Game was far from over at that point. He was a -2 for the game while every other starter had horrific +/- numbers.

Once again, just a very lazy, misinformed post.

I’m sure it has happened but I’m not one to get into conspiracy theories. I do like to joke about it though. For example that Turner moving screen in game 1.

Honestly if Hali is healthy he’s not that good of a player. Puts no pressure at the basket and just shoots 3’s. is this really all he does?

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Hali is good but hes not a first option way to many games where he's literally not even attempting to score
