I think a "no betting on the NBA" seems to just be the easiest and safest route.

I do think it's too harsh a penalty considering how much the NBA pushes gambling.

Feels like they're making an example out of him. All they found was that he told someone who made the bet about his health. No way a player with a bigger place in the game gets the same treatment if that's all they found.

EDIT: Wait, are they also alleging he was betting on NBA games while on the roster?
