Kind of thinking 19 will have a choice of bigs that fill our needs long term as both Kelly and Jakob are on a different timeline.

Which one of these three fit?

1. Zach Edey is the most dominant college big but if he a guy you build around? I do think he can at least be a solid back-up big at least.

2. Ulrich Chomche is a project but has the making of a blocks and threes big man that fits in a variety of lineups.

3. Yves Missi is the high upside big but mostly a rim runner. Kind of a better version of Capela or Nick Claxton.

Not considering Ware (poor motor) or Mogbo (size). I lean towards Edey because he knows Canada and a lot of the players here. I am not as deep into the others yet, but I am open to them too.

I'm very much against using 19 on any bigs

DaRon Holmes. The kid can ball. We can't afford to whiff on projects with low feel and questionable ceilings.

Is Devin Carter a 3 + D guard? Kinda feels like we need one of those types in addition to an Ibaka type if we go by the teams Masai's built over the years

Jaylon Tyson is growing on me for the DET pick.

I know people have seen this HL but I watch it and he seems like a player that would just fit in really well.

He just looks like a smart NBA player to me that will find a way to blend in and be an effective rotation piece like what MIA likes and what we used to be good at finding. Him & Carter stand out as those kinds of players to me (and yeah ironic both dudes like their ponytails lol).

He's an undersized SG, so likely a more athletic Malik Monk. Not really a great fit beside IQ.

I actually have Presti screwing Vivek over Holmes, Vivek screwing Riley over Carter and Riley taking Tyson at 15.

Da'Ron is a very smart and cool kid I like his whole attitude and vibe he's very high character. I like his fit in OKC with Chip Engelland capable of possibly helping boost his shooting %s which would be massive.

Chomche?

I've seen his name mentioned by everyone, I'll give him a look.

There’s isn’t even that much footage of him, but apparently he’s very raw and his measurements aren’t even that great. I guess people like him because he can jump.

This Kyshawn George fella should be a lotto pick imo, so if the Raps could get him at 19, they should consider taking him

I am ok with who NBAdraft.net has - Carrington and Sallis. Sign Yang.
Ska needs to make a comeback.

Honestly, I was late to the game with this kid. He averaged under 3 points so I ignored him, but damn his highlight tape is amazing. He is a freak athlete in a draft where there aren't many.

I think Masai takes a C prospect at 19 or 31.

19 - Edey, Missi, Ware, Filipowski

31 - Chomche

Woah! You think OKC takes Holmes at #12?! I mean, I would get it (I have Holmes well over the other C's - Filipowski, Edey, Ware, Chomche, etc.), but that's a bold take. I like it. Holmes is already a decent shooter and finisher, but I have no doubt both improve even more given his work ethic. He's turned himself from a run-dunk roll man into such a well-rounded player - improving each year. I might sound crazy, but I see a little Al Horford in his game.

In any case, if this does happen, maybe McCain or Collier drop?

Its hard to project who we are drafting at 19 and 31 because this draft is so wide open without much consensus order.

At 19, I think there are a few good point guards in play (Carter, Collier, McCain) but there are also a few bigs in there too (Filip, Missi, Edey, Smith, Holmes). I like Holmes and Smith as our future PF (play next to Barnes).

At 31, its probably going to be a wing (Dunn, Jones, Tyson, Sallis, Ajinca all projected between 31-40).

Very happy it's finally over with. With the 19th pick I'm looking at these four. I hope we get 1 of McCain or Carter. I don't love using 19th on a big.

D. Carter
J.McCain

Da Silva
Ware

At 31 give me
Watkins
Dunn
Sallis
Dadiet
Comche

We should have options at 31 IMO.
