Yea some mixed emotions. You kinda get used to Sam Mitchell and deep down you want him to succeed as our coach but it just wasn't working.

Ah well, Sam had a fair shake, BC even gave him a warning, which is seldom seen in this day and age. I was never a Sam hater as most of you here, but I was in favour of protecting his relationship with Chris Bosh and Jose, but that doesn't seem like enough of a reason to keep him any more. Our younger players need some tutelage and a shakeup was probably necessary to atleast display some of the characterisitcs BC has envisioned for this team this year. Two big men dynamo setting up trey bombs all over the court.

I hope Jay holds the post down til atleast the AS break. He deserves it. Congrats.

I am no fan of Smitch but I really didn't think that this was goig to happen right now! Thought he would last till the end of the year thinking that MLSE would not want to eat the total amount left on his contract.
