if he's been talking alot, then listening is the right thing to do. an effective communicator/leader knows when to talk and when to shut up and listen.

are you confusing CB4 with an effective communicator/leader?!?
...cause the results beg to differ with your opinion...

i get the impression the euros' connect well with the other players but bargnani is a little isolated. i suspect it has more to do with his poor command of english, its incredibly revealing in those post game interviews where he comes off as confrontational when in actuality he's nervous. he seems to get along great with rasho and beli- the italian speakers. i also noticed that hedo seems to be barking a lot at the kid recently so i dont think its an euro versus american thing as much as its team vs. bargnani thing.

"I'm tired of talking – I've talked enough," said Bosh. "It was good for me just to hear what everybody else has to say."

good to see or not, that our franchise player had nothing to say... As Yoda would say: very motivating this leader is...

It is funny how he didn't say anything.

you are making inferences that may or may not be correct.
if we knew the exact reason for this pantload of a quarter season, then problems could be easily resolved.

Jim Todd had a good interview on the FAN. he was mentioning - without being pushed - how they could tell Bosh would be a good leader. infer what you want from that.

Let me get this straight.

Some of the other girls think that Bargs is being a bit of a princess because she does not want to get her hands dirty.

So they all say 'well, if she isn't going to do it then neither am I' get all bitchy and decide to just ignore the fact that they are all getting embarrassed every night and not do the dirty work either?

And since Bargs is not talking to them they won't talk to her about it? And since Bargs talks to Belli and Jose then Jack/DD/Amir won't talk to any of them?

Is this really what is happening here? Really??

What an f'n high school musical drama!

see most of the reason IMO is that this team so far had no identity or real motivation. Who gives that identity/motivation?
Leadership both on the floor/locker room & coaching.

All great teams have had strong leaders & direction, works in bball as does in all other real wold teams (sports/business).

Mental toughness and making everybody around better are some of the missing ingredients for both our franchise player and present coach. Talent is not enough.

So I have discovered a few things about this Raptors team:

1 - They don't communicate
2 - Apparently Wright and the other "Americans" think the Euros have cooties, or are just in a different social circle apparently. Bottom line, I think Antoine got confused when those cameras were following Bosh around for that documentary and thought he had been cast in High School Musical 47 or some garbage like that.
3 - Antoine Wright is not a team player. This is the second time in 2 days that he has run his mouth off about team business to the media. No wonder we got him for Devean George.

We didn't. Wright came over in the Turkoglu S&T from Dallas. We got Belinelli for George.
