Don't know if this article has been posted ..

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Mo Williams contemplated retirement following LeBron James' decision to join the Miami Heat this offseason, according to Yahoo! Sports.
“That’s how bad it got,” Williams said. “I contemplated it. I really sat down and envisioned life after basketball. …I really saw myself not playing
.

From this quote, Mo is saying that LeBron brought 'life' in him.

Feel sorry for this brother.

How does that make him a follower? He was just hurt by the whole situation, if he was really a follower he would void his contract sign for the minimum with the Heat. Clearly LBJ led him to believe he was going to stay.

LBJ probably led him to believe there is a good chance he would stay in Cleveland. Like Bosh probably tricked Raps management (hence BCs outburst, Gilbert's outburst etc).

Think about your life and then Mo's quote.

That makes sense to me.

How? HOW?!?! Does a professional athlete ply his trade all through his youth, high school, college, to the point where he's on a 12 man roster of a 30 team league known as the ultimate accomplishment of a basketball career called the N.B.A. (do the math, that's 360 players), in a sport that MILLIONS play. ONLY to chuck it because Bron Bron flew the coupe?!?! If anything this has just further proven that the NBA has jumped the shark, at this point it's beyond 1980's W.W.F. Sad and f'n pathetic, even more pathetic than West nailing the Golden Child's mom.

"I'm going to quit my job?" I don't many of us are thinking that.

I don't get what the big deal is. Haven't y'all had moments when you hated your job so much, you felt like quitting?

That "oh he's paid millions to play a game, the ingrate" stuff is nonsense born out of envy/jealousy and a loss of perspective. Pro baller might be a dream job but it's still a job.

Every six months I have interns come through my office all starry-eyed, ready to kill me and my family for a chance to do what I do. That doesn't change the fact that, no matter how much I (and others) love my job, some days I want to blow my own brains out over the crap that goes on in the company/industry.

Yeah, Mo is a hanger-on and a fake all-star. But in this case, he's just a dude. It's not like he actually quit.
