2013 Toronto vs. Boston:
Boston wins game 1, Leafs win game 2, Boston wins games 3 and 4, Leafs win game 5 and 6, Boston wins game 7.

2018 Toronto vs Boston:
Boston wins game 1, Leafs win game 2, Boston wins games 3 and 4, Leafs win game 5 and 6, Boston wins game 7.

2024 Toronto vs Boston:
Boston wins game 1, Leafs win game 2, Boston wins games 3 and 4, Leafs win game 5 and 6, AND ????????

This is like deja vu...hopefully different the 3rd time around.

This information is not accurate.

2018 - Bruins won games 1 AND 2.
2019 - Leafs won games 1,3, and 6. Bruins won 2, 4, 5,7

2019 - Leafs won game 5, Bruins won 6 and 7.

Canucks through to the next round vs. Edmonton. That should be a great series. Personally cheering for Edmonton, but also fine with Vancouver winning since I live on the west coast.

Glad to see Canucks get through. As a (very) casual hockey follower, I always support the Canadian teams without discrimination. And the Canadian players. Probably my preference would be for Oilers to win the Cup, even more than the Leafs, because I want Connor McDavid to win at least one earlier in his career than Ovie did. As as one of the greatest players of all time, he NEEDS to win it all to confirm his status.

But man, there are a lot of great American players rn. This Leafs team is crazily over-weighted with US guys. And Quinn Hughes on the Canucks, a D-man with nearly 100 points on the season, scored the only goal last night.

Really hope the leafs can get this one tonight. The first few games were a disaster but they’ve really turned it around. So to exit the first round in typical leafs fashion would be so cruel.

Regardless though, Woll is an absolute gamer and the consensus no. 1 goalie. His tenacity is EXACTLY what was needed to light the fire under this team’s feet. The question is Knies and Nylander are creating all sorts of problems for the Bruins right now but if Matthews comes back, will it limit their game?

Keefe is still trash. Leafs deserve a better playoff coach.
