Because he’s hindered by his injury and subsequent recovery. He is also a much better player than Siakam when healthy.

Well considering Pascal has carried the Pacers in at least 1 game this series...it's not all bad. He'll get the max on a team that is looking to win now. That's perfectly fine for him. Let's let go of some of the hate towards him.
He isn't an A+ player...but maybe A to A- which is still worth a max.
