Yes, would be a huge mistake by the Magic if they throw a large long term contract at Klay. He is not making them a dramatically better team. Just eats up their cap space when they need to sign their own players.

Fred’s deal was structured essentially as a 2 year deal so they are free of his contract when they need to sign their young players.

Raptors not being able to get Isaiah Jackson or Nesmith or Jarace Walker in the siakam trade is an all time blunder.

Pascal gave the kids a chance to win the game tonight, and they failed. Pascal takeover time next game.

Walker was not on the table. 8th overall pick on his rookie season. Pascal would not re sign with any team. Heck he could still leave Indiana if they don't pay up. Nesmith is signed till 2026/27 at only $11M. They're gonna need him. I like Isiah but I suspect the FO would rather the additional picks and cap flexibility. And if you don't take the trade Pascal maybe walks, forces a S+T for less than the Raptors got, or you ink him 5 years max as an aging player on a non playoff team.

Underwhelming? Yes. All time blunder? Not so much.

You nailed it. Raptors fans can overreact like they don't make mistakes. Masai has won more than he has lost. Look at the total package. We got IQ, RJ, Scottie and Gradey to build from. We will be alright.

Again with lols. Pascal is the only reason the Pacers are in this position. He's just great at incorporating his teammates, and getting the most out of them - just like he did here in letting the kids develop.

He'll need to step it up for them to win though.

Why would I stop, just because you were completely wrong about him, and are butt hurt?

Norm Powell was butt hurt that he wasn’t nominated for 6man. Sorry Norman, you’re not Derrick White!

Derrick White is a starter. Started every game he played this year.

Yes I was "completely wrong" he totally was "letting the kids develop" and "getting the most out of them." yup totally sounds like the same Pascal Siakam. Kind of like how that other poster who thinks Poeltl is a better playmaker than Scottie, you guys would get along actually.

Giddy is going to continue losing minutes to a rookie and other bench guys. Almost a lock to be thrown into a trade next year before they have to pay him.

He's definitely a replaceable dude, especially when you have 291 draft picks.

This would be idiotic for Phoenix. The roster is the problem not the coach lol
