What the heck was Maxey thinking? He said he didn’t know Kyle was missing on purpose but he made no effort to go for the rebound. Just terrible effort there that cost them the game. No excuse to stand with your hands on your hips in that situation.

Embiid and Jokic should never be discussed together again. There is zero chance Jokic loses to a team with Brunson and a bunch of roleplayers. If you're the MVP you can't let a team with one star beat you.

Also great defense by OG on Embiid.

Nah, he's all about being home, or ring chasing, or golfing. Toronto offers none of those 3.

Kyle has earned the right to ring chase. He can sign a 1 day to retire with us. Problem with bringing him back is it puts Masai in an awkward position when he may need to include Kyle in a trade or waive him to make the numbers work.

Not to excuse poor effort, but how often do guards dive in from the perimeter on a free throw? Especially if they aren't given a heads up on it being an intentional miss?

Jokic is the best player in the game, meanwhile I can easily name 10 players (at least) I take over Embiid in a must-win game.

Considering the game is on the line during a playoff game and the free throw was never guaranteed in the first place, he should have been prepared to fight for the rebound.
