Why wouldnt you boo him? Even if it was accidental, he still put TJ out for us and we needed him, that reason alone should be boo-worthy...

the guyyy took a full out swing at the FACE of one of our players going for a break away layup. He should be definitely be booed. I dont believe the crap that says it was unintentional. You take any professional athlete and you tell me they can aim where they are swinging at? Its not like he even tried to avoid TJ's face. Tilll this day, he still lies about it not being intentional. If he really wanted to stop TJ, he should have just given him a hard foul on the arms or something.

MORE IMPORTANTLY, anyone that thinks they can stop TJ on a fast break should be booed for their stupidity.

I would be equally apologetic if I accidentally ran over a ten year old with my car. Would you forgive me if you were the parent?

It's called responsibilty, and Horford was careless. I would be disappointed if he didn't get booed, it's the least we can do.

exactly...his accident might end TJs career(although it looks like he will make a come back) not to mention it cost us games. Boo like there is no tomorrow.

After that horrific bus accident last week, a father that just lost his son told the media that when he met the team's coach (the driver) after the accident, he forgave him then simply hugged him for a while. So to answer your question, yes, people do exactly that. An accident is just that. Move on.

Booing Horford would be an utterly classless move. Remember how Horford sat waiting at the hospital so he could apologize to TJ? No one on the raptors is mad at Horford. The fans shouldn't be mad either.

So here is a question for those so concerned about being classy.

Is it ever acceptable to boo a player on the other team?

And here's a curveball.

By booing Horford does that in turn show love for TJ? Saying that we've got his back?

Of course, just boo them for something they meant to do. Like Vince Carter quitting on the team, or (if you're a old-time grizzlies fan) for Steve Francis forcing a trade. TMac and Alonzo are both fine examples as well.

It shows love, but is that really the best way to do it? I could show that I love my girlfriend by beating up her boss that comes down on her too hard. However, that's clearly that's not a good way to go about things...

....

I could either be forgiven, or not, the question is would you hold it against the father of the child I just ran over if he were unable to forgive me? I doubt it. Conversely, why are people being vilified for saying they'd boo the **** out of Horford at the ACC tomorrow?

I love it when people argue in absolutes, it's so easy to pick apart these arguments.

If Mark Jackson, then with with the Knicks can be booed upon his return after being traded....then anyone can be booed here

that being said, I'm very hopeful of Rasho properly welcoming the rook to town....ala Reggie Evans

Return to Toronto Raptors
