as years go by , ull see more new dunks and better athletes. have u seen the 2006 ncaa dunk contest ? IF U HAVENT. its the best dunk contest ever. james white all free throw line dunks, between the legs and windmill and 2 hander. also rodney carney a foot away from the free throw line.

Jamario is gonna win for sure. I have a feeling hes gonna do two dunks we have never saw b4

You can also hear the ball going in n the rim ratteling, its a dunk with a lot of noise.

No he made it, because at the end you can see Joey and Baston Celebrate at the end.

Their reaction was clearly scripted. I don't know whether or not he made it (I couldn't tell at all from the reflection to be honest), but either way, the reaction from Joey and Baston would have been the same.

At first I thought he didn't make it, but with further looks at the reflection I'm pretty sold that he made it. It reminded me of the Josh Smith "tape" dunk in '06. Minus the tape and the fail.

Also, maybe we should change the title of the thread!

Having a couple minutes sinking that all in, I'm now pretty certain he can do that. Why would the NBA contact him out of all the contestants for a preview video.

Dwight - can't even jump from the FT line
Rudy Gay - FT line MAX
GG - Maybe...but not likely. He can't palm the ball with his missing finger (you need to palm it for this specific dunk)
Moon - long, can palm the ball, 50+ inch vert. If anyone can do it, it's him.

And I just realized that the second dunk he has his arm from the elbow up over the rim, its like VC hand in the rim, plus the 360...if he tries harder to get more elevation, stay in the air a little bit more, and dunk it with his hand hanging in the rim, thats a 50.

Regardless of whether he made the dunk or not! You can not tell me that Moon doesn't know how to work the crowd or the fans. The way he has manipulated the fans, and to a certain extant is remarkable for a "rookie", even at his age.

I am a little worried though, with all the hype, if he is setting himself up to fail.

It's fake. The sound is synced up fine for the whole video, but if you play the video on slow motion, when the dunking sound starts, his reflection is nowhere close to the reflection of the backboard.

from the sounds of the video, i think he made it, heard the rim shake as well as the ball through the twine.

Added later, synced with the sound of the actual ball hitting the floor.

Yeah if he makes that secret dunk, he's going to win it.

Hell his two easy dunks should advance him no problem. Going to be a fun one.

wtf. wow wow. i wonder if he actually made that one and it isn't just a lame teaser. if he actually pulls it off in the contest he's gonna win. jamario's taking this seriously.
