Man, AP has been awesome these past few games. Just awesome. He did a great job on Kobe tonight.

Some people were criticizing AP on this board, saying he has declined. I think he has improved his game a lot this year.

AP's shot creation has been a big surprise in this stretch. He plays mostly in the mid range but he sets himself up extremely well and is very crafty.

AP has to keep up this assertiveness when Bosh comes back for us to go up a level.

Right now, he's playing like a star on the wing.

Another great performance again... he needs to be our section offensive option behind Bosh

Not only is he scoring with incredible efficiency, he's guarding the other team's best player while doing so. That's hard work defined right there.

The guy gives 110% every second he's on the floor, you got to respect that.

Man, if AP was just a little younger, I'd be totally ecstatic with him.

I wish we picked him up a little earlier in his career. 32 and counting & even with his great play of late, you can see he's slowing down since last year.

AP stunk at the beginning of the year, but has steadily improved. Looks like he is back to his form of last year. He and the PG's should totally be our second options on offense. Rasho/Bosh/Moon/AP/Jose is still our best starting 5.

Everytime they run that curl play for AP, good things happen. Same with putting the ball in AP's hands at the top of the key. Sometimes he needs to be a bit more selfish and look to create for himself more often. His teammates tend to forget about him at times and he gets out of the flow.

If he keeps this up when Bosh gets back we're going to have hope in the playoffs :D

Very happy with AP. He has really stepped it up.

I was just thinking, teams are going to be drooling over AP this off-season. A high character veteran who defends well, on an excellent contract that is also an expiring, is one of the best 3 ball shooters in the league, almost scoring 20 ppg a game when his team needs him to step up....if we do decide to deal him, we're going to get a lot in return. MEM got Rudy Gay for Battier; and AP isn't really that far off of where Battier was before he got dealt. His loss is going to hurt us, so we better be getting something really good in return- if not, I'd rather not trade him- the intangibles he brings to the game are very underrated.

I agree 100%, without him right now in Bosh's absence, we would not have won any of our games and probably wouldn't even have come close. He is very underrated and people in the league are starting to notice him during this stretch. His value is definitely going to start creeping up. As much as I love him (he is my favourite player on the raps) I definitely think this summer or next February, packaged with a big expiring like Rasho would be a smart move, but ONLY if it lands us a really good slasher/defender/rebounder. If not we WILL suffer and are better off keeping him and letting him play out his career in Toronto.

Too bad we didn't have this guy when he was younger.

Groin injury.

He might be the only wing player that doesn't make me want to pull my hair out.

He's great. One of the most all around likable guys on the team, if not the most. He's a great guy, he's a good team leader, he's a good all around team oriented player, and he's usually one of the only guys doing anything when the Raptors are playing like crap.

Chuck mentioned it, he got scratched a couple or few games ago I think ... AP said he didn't even know it happened ... and then Chuck and Leo made a joke about AP's wife finding the scratch ... the end.

And oh, AP ... my favorite raptor ... this guy is awesome. I hope we keep him around for another 3 years after his contract is up (assumingly coming off the bench) The unfortunate reality is since he's expiring, he may be used as trade bait ... if traded, I hope he comes back and finishes his career here.
