The article says that MLSE holds the rights to non-Raptor NBA games also in Canada, and that they packaged that together with Raptors games. Since, understandably, Sportsnet couldn't guarantee national coverage for the Raptor games, they lost out on the other NBA games too.

Sounds more like MLSE should have unbundled the non-Raptors games to me.

Score is hte best thing we've got. They should just drop everything and do all ball, football, and baseball. Football and baseball because when basketball season isn't on, something has to be shown. Oh yeah, and the occasional horse races for the older people. I like adnan virk , and that other guy (the bald guy) forgot his name)

Yea the Score dudes are pretty funny sometimes... And Adnan as goofy as he looks comes up with some clever things to say...

It hardly matters who does the game unless you only get some of the channels. We'll still be stuck with Swirsky/Leo and unless they change that, I don't really care.

The production team is the same for all channels which means you'll miss at least 3-5 plays a game while the camera focuses on something completely irrelevant. Jumpin' Johnny Russin should've completed his Sheridan diploma before joining the workforce.

So sportsnet becomes a poker channel? am I reading this correct?

The score is a great channel. They give love to all the sports and their NBA coverage is good. The guys there are pretty funny as well. Awesome channel

Hopefully the Score increases its non-NBA games a lot, because as others mentioned Sportsnet carried a lot of them.

More Leo & Chuck, I can't really handle.... Jack & Chuck I can handle.... 1000+ times better.

Poor Jack has lost the March Madness gig because the Score took over the tournament from Sportsnet. Now thios. I should say, poor us the viewers, no more Jack. He just has to switch networks, go to the Score and/or TSN so he can do Raps games. Replacing Leo would be the best thing. Failing that, go back on the Fan radio casts, and send Eric Smith back to pre and post-game host.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

oh man, does this mean more Leo?? :banghead:
Jose "Hammy" Calderon - where Gatorade at the half clouding rational judgment happens, and where "hamstring" injuries linger all season long.

Clearly defense is the difference between winning and losing for this team.

I mean at least if they aired good hockey games, but they air the worst ones possible. Like I really want to watch Edmonton and Columbus square off.

Since ESPN owns about 10% (give or take) of TSN, the odds of that happening are quite slim.

All pro sports are inherently "useless". I'm not at all a hockey fan, but each to his own.

I think Hockey is cool, but Raptors are better.
