Andrew Bogut on Nathan Jawai

Bogut says Jawai, picked at number 41 in the NBA Draft, is in a good position for the official season.

"He's got an NBA-ready body," he said.

"He is very athletic and he can jump. I think he's got a pretty decent work ethic too.

"With [All Star] Jermaine O'Neal obviously getting older in age, he obviously probably won't be playing as much minutes as he was a couple of years back.

"I think he [Jawai] is definitely going to find himself an opportunity to play minutes."

Wow, Bogut is smarter than i ever could have imagined. He made the astute observation that a guy who was a starter in an Australian league, "probably won't be playing as much (think he meant to say 'many') minutes", in the NBA. You're 'probably' right Bogut. The Raps will probably, maybe, potentially start Jermaine over Jawai but who knows.

He's talking about JO possibly not playing as many minutes because he's getting older.

I think you misinterpreted that. I thknk Bogut was saying that O'Neal won't be playing as many minutes as before, which will open up some PT for Jawai.

epic fail by The Main Event. I always find it funny when people go on rants that are completely based on misinterpreting something

The Main Event living up to his name by stealing the show.

I wonder if JO will give young Andrew a little extra something something when the Raps meet up with the Bucks to show him he still has a little left in the tank.
