Rank him amongst other East Centers...Of course at the level he has been playing and assuming he can keep this up.
Mine is something like this...
Howard
Big Z
Sheed
Bogut
Bargs
Emeka (more of a PF)
Sammy D.
Horford
JO

Assuming he plays at his current level (last 6 games). I'd put him behind:
Howard
Bosh
Ilgauskas
Horford
Okafor
Bogut
Edit: forgot about Horford

Isn't it a little much to assume he's going to keep shooting 63% from 3, and 57% from the feild, when for 2.5 years he shot .368 from 3, and .410 from the field?

Okafor and Horford are still up there...
Bargs still has a LOT more to prove to be amongst the elite in the east, or in the league.

I agree. To be honest if we are presuming he will consistently play like this day in and day out for the rest of his career he is arguably a top 5 center in the league. This is very unrealistic though so this thread is a little skewed. I think he will start to cool off eventually but I can still see him averaging 16-17 points and 5-6 rebs the rest of the season.

Okafor is more of a PF like CB4..
Take a look at Horford's stats...and you will see...Grass is always greener on the other side....

Are you guys kidding?
He's the only Big who can knock down the 3...
Bargs should be first then the rest don't matter.

1 Bargs
2 Dwight
though right now dwight is on a winning team so he gets all the attention. If bargs had rashard, hedo, and jameer the magic would be undefeated.

Okafor plays at C
you could argue that Barg is more a PF too, but he is also playing at C

Bargs comes before Bogut IMO.

although bargs has the "centre" label on him...he plays more of a pf or sf, but this gives the team more space, and bargs CAN step in and play as a PURE centre as long as he is confident in him self...especially at the defensive end.
So when bargs plays as teh centre, he's kind of constantly switching between the 3 forward positions, sicne he's had experience with all...
Les all hope he keeps this up and further improves his post ups.
I dont know about others, but if all goes as planned for raptors, its goign to be Bargs, CB4 and ukic as the big 3 for us in the future, of course they all have to improve individually. It'll be handy to have a great shooter like bargs as a centre...=)

I am pushin for the guy to be successful as much as the biggest Bargs boosters, but even I think this thread is going too far & jumping the gun.
The guy has put together a string of good games & is starting to play consistently better. Just let him play ball & learn how to be an effective big man.......
I don't expect him to be better than anyone at this point. I just expect him to work hard & continue to improve....
