SAS: CB4 told BC he's not re-signing, BC refutes pg 34

Post#1 » by OneTime86 » Sun Feb 1, 2009 7:55 pm

He was just on ESPN news and they were talking about trade rumors with the deadline coming up. First guy he says is Bosh and that he "has already informed toronto that he has no intention of resigning." He also said that its Bosh and not JO that the heat are really after. I thought this was interesting considering this is the first ive heard anything like this. Any thoughts?

No chance. If its Bosh the Heat don't have enough to get a deal done. Hopefully, he will be traded for Amare.

Seems realistic to me.. Beasly plus filler and maybe a first round draft pick for Bosh. I think it works for both teams pretty well...

He's probably referring to what Jalen Rose "reported" this week.

Funny how a lie becomes truth if it's repeated enough by different people.

I'm not saying it may or not be true on its merits, but I don't think it's based on anything Bosh has said - it's purely (potentially valid) speculation.

I'd take Beasley+Marion+Joel+Jamaal+1st round draft pick for Bosh and JO.

OR...maybe not.

SAS is a buffoon.

but if this is in the slightest bit true, then it does explain some of the weirder things going on with bosh the past two months. he has just been hesitating way too much and there's been an abnormal amount of times he's had butterfingers. his comments about the fans, etc. AND, it could also be why smitch was fired (maybe bosh wanted him to stay) and also why we've seen less involvement of his in the offense as of late.

again, this probably doesn't hold any water BUT it could explain a little bit.

on a side note, miami has nothing to offer us for bosh.

The only guy worth CB is D-Wade and the Heat aren't giving him up. If CB has in fact informed the Raps that he's not coming back I can only say two things. First, he will be incredibly unfocused for 2 years. Second, at least he has enough class to inform us way in advance so that we can get something done. However, everything needs to be taken with a grain of salt although this losing seriously hinders our chance of resigning Chris and the option of him leaving is increasing with every loss and for good reason because I would feel the same way.

Beasly is garbage. He is a 4 that does not have the athleticism to play the position. He is more of a smooth player and in college just used his size to bully his way around.

If bosh needs to go. send him out west. I wouldn't leave him in the East. AT least he won't have an easy path to the playoffs with the heavy competition in the West.

I would say if the raps could trade for OJ Mayo and Gay from the Griz it would be pretty good.

You would have

Calderon
Mayo
Gay
Bargs
JO

Bosh is smart. We know that he is going to evaluate everything. I just don't think he is worth the amount of money that Wade, Lebron will get. And if the raps do give him that amount of money the team will be out of resources to fill a team and be left with nothing in the mold of the KG Wolves.

I don't know if this Bosh to Miami holds any merit, but I at this point in time, I can't see him re-signing with the Raps during the 2010 offseason - unless we drastically get better.

I doubt Bosh has told anybody of his intentions, but we can only hope that his future will not be in Toronto.

Steve and Jalen Rose just ruined X-mas for the Bosh family earlier today by calling them up in Dallas and telling them what gifts they are getting this year.

They have also advised Bosh to avoid driving against Memphis next year in a game on Jan. 23, 2009 in the 2nd quarter at 3:02 as he will slip and twist his ankle on the play.
